Chapter 4: An Epic Freakout and Introductions
After looking into a full length mirror after exploring what seemed to be the bathroom area of the strange room that she woke up in, Alexa let out a loud panicked shriek.
"NOOOOOOOOO!"
"What the hell is up with MY FACE"
"WHO DID THE TO ME"
Alexa was on the verge of having a breakdown...and she had a very good reason to do so. When Alexa had walked up to the mirror and saw her reflection, she saw that her original appearance had been altered.
Alexa has always been satisfied with her appearance, she wasn't supermodel material but she was prettier than average. She had been born with silky and manageable strawberry blonde hair and blue-green eyes. Her skin was on the pale side but it was clean and smooth. Her figure was also normal for a girl of her age, slender which was surprising because she spent some of her time indoors playing video games or sketching.
Alexa had been absolutely shocked to discover that her shoulder length strawberry blonde hair had somehow grown to waist length and had turned pink at the tips! Her eyes had also drastically changed because instead of normal eyes the color between blue and green, they had turned pale magenta with blue and green flecks in them.
Even her body had been changed to a more taller, more voluptuous hour glass figure with long legs. Due to her initial shock of waking up in a strange place after being assaulted by the strange furry creature, Alexa hadn't even registered any physical difference with her until she had seen her reflection. As expected, Alexa began to do the only reasonable action. It was to panic and completely lose her mind.
"AAAAAAAAAGHH!!!!!!
"WHAT THE HELL HAS HAPPENED TO ME!!!
"WHY ARE MY EYES PINK!!
" IS THIS SOME KIND OF SICK JOKE!!
"DID SOMEONE PERFORM PLASTIC SURGERY ON ME"
Alexa continued screaming, ranting, and raving for several more minutes until her throat starting hurting and and she finally stopped and starting taking several deep breathes in order to calm down and not enter a state of hysterics. She had taken a few deep breaths when she finally noticed two small voices started talking right behind her!
"Do you think that the new boss is unstable, not mention loud?"
"You shut your muzzle and be quiet!"
"She is frightened and probably very confused"
"Ugh, fine. as long as we can get her to stop screaming."
The voices stopped arguing and and one of the began to address her " We apologize for not being present when you had awakened, Milady."
Alexa took a deep breath and she began to turn around and face her apparent kidnappers. From she had just heard, one voice was sweet and strangely polite while the other was bit childish with an attitude.
Exactly three seconds after she had turned around, Alexa went completely speechless and then followed up with a dead faint from what she had just laid her eyes on.
"Mistress, oh Mistress, we need you to wake up"
Alexa felt someone poking her with a finger and she responded by turning over and whining "Don't wanna, five more minutes....".
The poking continued and soothing voice continued to attempted to awaken the uncooperative young girl until the childish voice from earlier spoke up.
"Looks like the boss needs a bigger wake up call"
Alexa then felt something furry come close to her ear and instantly regretted not waking up before when a very loud squeaky voice went "HEY BOSS, WAKE UP!!!" right into her ear.
"AAAAGH!!"
"DON'T DO THAT TO ME!!!"
Alexa cried out, her head ringing from the aggressive wake up call. She opened her rose colored eyes and managed to stifle a gasp at the sight of the two creatures that she had seen earlier.
"Hello Mistress, welcome to your new home."
"Hiya Boss, let's get to work!"
The gentle voice from earlier belonged to what seemed to be at first a very young and lovely girl with jade eyes and shoulder length golden blonde hair but had long fangs, vertical slit pupils and a 4 foot long green tail like a snake's. She was around the height of a thirteen year old girl and she wore a sleeveless white tunic with a gold belt and golden bracelets.
The snake girl gave Alexa a lovely smile and sweetly said "Milady, my name is Una of the Serpentine race, I am at your service." The snake girl finished with a small curtsy eagerly stared at Alexa.
Alexa couldn't help but smile back and replied with a small thank you. Then Alexa turned around to give the owner of the loud wake up shout a good glare
"What's with the stink eye, Boss?"
The slightly thoughtless but good-natured voice belonged to a creature that was nearly identical to the creature that had basically attacked her in the park.
"YOU!!!!"
Alexa angrily jumped off of the bed that Una and the furry monster had placed her unconscious body back on and lunged at the little fuzzball.
"B-B-BOSS, What's you're problem?"
The creature was easil evading Alexa's angry lunges but her ferocity managed to startle it.
"Excuse me?!! You ATTACKED me at the park,kidnapped me, turned me into this, and you have the nerve to ask WHAT MY PROBLEM IS!!!"
Alexa ranted as she was finally cornered the furry creature, Una cried out "Please stop, Rune is innocent, he didn't summon you, his mother Ruka did!"
Alexa stopped advancing on what assumed was her kidnapper and took a good look at the creature. She realized that even though this Rune character looked very similar to the creature had assaulted her in the park, they were not the same.
While both creatures had the same body and fur color, Rune was smaller than the creature at the park. Rune's eyes and horns were also different from Alexa's assailant. Rune's eyes were a bright golden hue similar to the color of a piece of amber or topaz and his horns were small like those of a young deer.
"Hey boss, are you okay now, you're not gonna go crazy again?"
Rune nervously asked, and Alexa now felt a little foolish for acting so rashly a few moments before. She sighed and calmly replied to Rune.
"No, I promise I wont go crazy again but can I at least get a proper explanation for why I'm here?"
"Where is here anyway."
Una, and Rune guided Alexa to the sitting room area that she has observed before and they all sat down together on the pink velvet sofa and the two nonhumans began to explain to Alexa why she had been brought there and why her appearance had changed.
