Chapter 1: The Summoning of the Dungeon Boss Part 1
Today had almost been an uneventful day for Alexa Addams or at least until she saw that strange creature.
The lovely adolescent girl had woken up a little late, brushed her teeth and her long silky hair and had gotten dressed for school. When she came downstairs after getting ready, Alexa greeted her grandfather with a kiss on the cheek and happily said good morning. The elderly gentleman chuckled and wished her a good morning as well. Alexa then went to the kitchen and said good morning to her mother and father while they set the table for a delicious breakfast.
She left home as usual and walked to the bus stop to wait for the school bus. When she got there she straightened out her uniform which consisted of a black skirt, black thigh-high socks, red flats, and a white dress shirt. the ensemble was tied together with a red blazer with Alexa's school logo. As she was waiting, she was suddenly grabbed from behind!
"SURPRISE!"
A high pitched voiced shouted into the young girl's ears in an mischievous and energetic manner.
A young girl with an appearance similar to a pixie with shoulder length chestnut colored hair released Alexa only for her smirk to falter after seeing no reaction on the first girl's face.
"Ugh, why can't I scare you?"
Alexa smirked with her pretty pink lips as her long time friend Julie kept pouting in disappointment.
"Stop pouting, it'll give you wrinkles."
Julie stopped making her signature pout and and gave a large happy grin.
Alexa giggled and said "You try to sneak up on me almost every day, what will make today any different?"
Julie then replied "You never know, This could be a day where your whole life changes and suddenly you're on a grand adventure."
Alexa flipped her long silky strawberry blonde hair and grinned. She then said "You read too many comics and besides, you'll always be too cute to scare me."
This was just a part of her usual day, she would go to school and Julie would greet or surprise her. The two girls chatted for a few minutes and then they heard the bus honk. The duo then boarded the school bus and then headed over to their school.
As the day went on, Alexa went about her day as usual, learning (and occasionally dozing off) her lessons in class until the bell rung for lunch. Alexa then made her way to the cafeteria and got in line to get her food. Alexa's mood skyrocketed when she saw that the menu for lunch had one of her favorites, pizza. The line for cafeteria stated moving and soon Alexa had filled her lunch tray with two slices of fresh pepperoni pizza, a small cup of assorted sliced fruit, a bottle of her favorite fruit juice and some napkins and a fork.
Alexa went to the cash register and paid for her lunch and went to the table where she usually sat with Julie. The petite girl had gotten a similar lunch and quickly joined the other girl and they began eating and conversing during their lunch period. They compared homework for classes, Julie's gymnastics practice and her next meet and then the topic drifted on to a new game that Alexa was planning on trying out.
Even though Alexa was a fifteen year old girl with long slightly wavy strawberry blonde hair, gleaming green-blue eyes, and an athletic but slender build with fair skin, she was a video game addict through and through. She loved to play video games ever since she was a little girl and she liked all kinds too. She enjoyed playing first person shooters, puzzles, rpgs, and simulation games. In fact, today she had woken up late because she spent most of the night playing an popular online mmorpg.
The bell soon rang and then the girls left for their respective classes. A few hours later, It was time for the last class of the day, which was Art.
Art was Alexa's favorite class because it involved a lot of creativity which she had. She got her love for being creative from her family who owned and operated a popular cafe. All the foods and drinks were created from family recipes which were absolutely tasty. Alexa's family also designed their own menus and dishware in order to better present their unique recipes. Alexa loved her family's cafe and enjoyed helping out whether it was serving food to customers, cooking the deserts, or even cleaning up after the cafe was closed.
Alexa set her school supplies down and sat down next to her usual easel which was right next to the windows so that when she was drawing, she could look outside for anything that inspired her creativity. A few minutes after Alexa sat down class started and the teacher started speaking about the drawing assignment for the day.
"Class, today we are going to do something a little different today. Our assignment for today is create a maze with our own personal touches and quirks and you all have until the end of class to turn it in."
After hearing the assignment, Alexa smiled and started sketching out a rough draft for a maze. "a maze by itself is too easy, i have a better idea..." Alexa then finished her rough draft for her drawing assignment and then began to work on the actual maze.
On a blank sheet of paper, she started drawing a maze however it slowly became a an amazing drawing of a dungeon from and RPG game. The dungeon had false rooms, traps, and Alexa's favorite, really awesome monsters that looked ready to take down any foolish adventurer who dared to trespass. She soon added some finishing touches to her work with the addition of random heros and adventurers exploring the labyrinth that she had created. Five minutes after Alexa finally finished her drawing, the bell rung signalling all the students to go home. Alexa quickly turned in her drawing to the teacher, got her school school supplies and headed towards the school bus to head home.
