Chapter 10: When you get a surprise for fainting
I woke up and found myself being carried by my mother in her arms. I could see that my mother was sobbing and small droplets of tears were falling on my cheeks
"Mother?"
"Oh my god! You're awake! son you're awake! I was so scared! I really thought I had lost you for a moment. Sob, Sob, I'm so glad you're safe"
She hugged and for 5 minutes and just wouldn't let go. I reassured her that I was safe and as fit as can be and comforted her until she stopped crying.
I looked around and found that we were following a huge crowd which was descending a mountain by the steps carved onto it. We were halfway down the mountain and I could see nearly the whole Konoha, and a quarter of it was fully destroyed, many buildings had caught fire and were lying in ruins. To think a single beast could bring forth so much destruction. and again to think that there are nine such beasts like these, and a one eyed fucker actually wants to merge all of them together into a single entity which is even more powerful! This to me was beyond madness.
We reached Juzo san's house which is now by default my house. I asked mother what happened after I fainted and she told me that all of the people in the room had fainted, and then a couple of ninjas had come and woke them up, and had taken them to the nearest disaster relief shelter. They had tried waking me up, but I wouldn't wake up no matter what. My mother had teared up and was about to cry yet again. I consoled her again and tried to cheer her up by hugging her for a full 5 min yet again. How embarrassing ya know.
I didn't think the kyuubi's chakra would have that big of an effect. Or maybe it wasn't the chakra itself but instead it was the presence or aura of the kyuubi which I had sensed through the kenbunshoku haki which had scared and overpowered me. I can still faintly remember that demonic presence and it still gave me goosebumps. I guess it was a lesson learnt. Just because I have the Jagan eye doesn't mean that I am infallible. I can still suffer from mental damage. And here I thought I was immune to to illusions and genjutsu. I was even preparing to face the tsukuyomi head on ya know. I guess all those plans now went down the drain. This shows that if something is strong enough, even god's gift can fail huh. The more I grow, the scarier it gets. Ignorance truly is bliss.
Let's forget that stuff for now. I still have a lot more years until I start indulging in this life and death occupation. I am still tired. Let's rest some more

I woke up the next day, completely refreshed. I jumped out of the bed, did the usual routine and went out to train, with more confidence and determination than ever. Last night showed me that with enough strength, even god given abilities can be bypassed. I started with a bit of warm up and stretches, but unlike other days I felt a lot more energetic. i was a bit confused about this. Since when did abstract emotions like confidence and determination effect body strength? I sat down on the ground and started checking whether anything was off with my body. The moment I started meditating, I could feel a foreign energy flowing through my body. What the hell just happened? How did I unlock my chakra?
