Chapter 4: First Friend

The flat-featured girl looked startled but said "My name is Kyline. I'm from Class 1E3, you?" Kyline gave a sweet smile. " I'm Li Yan, also from 1E3." Li Yan smiled back, silently calming herself down. " Do you know where should we go for assembly?" Kyline asked. Li Yan frowned and shooked her head. Being a generally open and carefree person, Li Yan continued making small talk to Kyline. Li Yan found that this girl was kinda introvert and quiet. There was something unsettling about her, though. But Li Yan congratulated herself on going up to someone to make friends on the first day of school instead of being alone again.She wanted her new year to be different from past. It was a new school, new people were prone and new experiences were waiting to be delivered. New school,new start. Let the students of Redwood Secondary experience a different Chua Li Yan!
