Chapter 11: Chapter Eleven
"That was amazing!" Jungkook says as the two walk out of the auditorium with their hands clasped together.
"Yeah. The only thing more beautiful was the man sitting next to me. Let me tell you, his skin was glowing, his eyes were lit up with the minimal light coming from the stars. I could go on forever." Taehyung says and Jungkook smiles sheepishly.
"He sounds amazing. But not quite as amazing as the man I was sitting next to. He was so handsome, like, ugh, I can't even begin to describe how amazing he is." Jungkook says, fanning himself in a joking manner. Taehyung giggles along with Jungkook as they walk down the street.
"So where to now?"
"A boat tour down the Han river. Boat tours are nice during the day, but they're even better at night. You'll love it."
"That sounds really nice. You are a lot better at this than most people."
"No, I just researched unique dates for thirty minutes and compiled a list of things I thought you might like."
"Aw, look at you. You're adorable." Jungkook says, gripping Taehyung's hand a little tighter as they smile wide at each other.
The two walked for another five minutes and Taehyung led them to a booth where he paid for the tickets and they went to stand in line.
It was about a ten minute wait since they had gotten there a little late. The found seats on the top of the boat on the front row. The tour lasted for about an hour before they got off and sat down on a park bench to take a little break.
"So what do you say to shutting down an arcade?"
Jungkook's face lights up and he says, "Heck yeah! Let's go!"
He stands up really fast and almost falls on his face if it weren't for the strong arms that seemed to appear out of nowhere.
"Be careful there." Taehyung says, his lips dangerously close to Jungkook's ear.
"Y-yeah, sorry. I-I just get really ex-xcited for video g-games." Jungkook says, suddenly realizing how cold it is outside except for the part of his body that was covered by Taehyung's warm arms.
Speaking of Taehyung's arms, they pull Jungkook closer to Taehyung's chest where the older's head rests on the younger's shoulder.
"You're really w-warm." Jungkook says, not sure if it's the right thing to say.
"Thanks, I try." He says with an obvious smirk.
Jungkook turns around in Taehyung's arms as he wraps his arms around Taehyung's neck, pulling them even closer together.
"Thank you."
"What for?"
"Well, for starters, thank you for keeping me from falling. Second, thank you for even dating me. I'm kind of an outcast and no one really likes me. Third thank you for this date specifically. I've never had anyone care enough about me to want to spend more than an hour or two, let alone loose sleep and stay up all night with me."
"To be fair, I've never been this nervous to be around someone and want to be perfect for someone."
"Tae, you are perfect. If you try any harder, any imaginable God would have to step down for you."
"Aw, it's cute when you lie." Taehyung says and when Jungkook pouts, he chuckles and boops his nose.
"I'm just joking. Thank you for the compliment but seriously you are the most adorably perfect person ever. I can't even compare."
"Well, it looks like we're just going to be a perfect couple. Might as well plan our wedding now."
"What? W-wedding?"
Now it's Jungkook's turn to chuckle. "I'm joking, but seriously. How are two perfect people not supposed to be together? I'm pretty sure that if one of us was born on the other side of the world, we still would have found each other."
"You're right. Come to think of it, I think you'll always be right."
"Nah, I am not a crazy person. I understand that I can be wrong. So if I am wrong about something, just tell me and we can laugh about it for the rest of forever."
"Hm, okay then. But you have to be able to tell me when I'm wrong."
"Don't worry, I'm good at that."
"Well hey Good At That, I'm Taehyung."
"You are such a dad friend."
"No, I'm Taehyung."
"Ugh, can we just go to the arcade?" Jungkook asks, fake whining to express his point.
"Anything you want, Good At That."
