Chapter 9: Chapter Nine
"After you." Taehyung says, opening the door to their dorm.
The two make their way up the stairs in silence since neither one of them really wanted this to end. It was fun being with each other.
"This is mine." Jungkook says, stopping and turning around as he points to the door on his left.
"247, I'll keep that in mind."
The two stay silent for a moment, just studying the other's face.
"So, Friday night at eight, okay?" Taehyung says, looking extremely excited at the mention of his date.
"Friday at eight. Can I ask for a favor before we split ways?"
"Of course." Taehyung replies, anxious for the favor.
"Can we hug? We don't have to if you don't want to, I've just been in dire need of physical affec-" Jungkook's words are cut off as he is pulled into a chest by a very strong pair of arms.
"You can hug me whenever you want." Taehyung whispers, taking in the strawberry scent of Jungkook's hair.
Taehyung just found is new favorite scent. Strawberry.
To be completely honest, if Jungkook needed physical affection, he could get it from Jimin or any number of his friends since they all thought of him as a baby that needed protecting. But Jungkook had been specifically craving Taehyun's touch. Not sexually, but romantically. Call him hopeless or weird, but he just wanted to be loved.
"So, I'll see you around I guess." Taehyung says when Jungkook steps back awkwardly. The only reason they had separated was a couple that was having difficulty coming up the stairs because they were making out.
"Yeah."
"And if you ever need me, you can text me and if I'm not answering, it's probably because I'm asleep. If that happens to be the case, my dorm number is 534 and feel free to beat down the door." Taehyung says and Jungkook giggles, his face scrunching up cutely.
"I may knock knock ditch you now." Jungkook says, a teasing smile on his face.
"You can do that if you wish to." Taehyung says with a smile to match Jungkook's.
They really didn't want this to end.
"Well, I have classes early in the morning. I'll text you, though." Jungkook says, unlocking the door.
"I'll look forward to it." Taehyung says, taking a step away from the boy.
"Goodnight, Taehyung."
"Goodnight, Jungkook."

"And then we said goodnight to each other." Jungkook finishes his mini rant to Jimin.
"I see. And how does that make you feel?"
"Oh stop making fun of me. This is important to me."
"I know it is, but it's kind of disgusting hearing about you being all lovey dovey with Kim Taehyung."
"What's so wrong with him?"
"He's just not my type."
"Right, because your type is Min Yoongi."
"Not necessarily."
"Oh, I forgot Jung Hoseok. You know, the only people you knew at this college when you moved here. In fact, weren't they the reason you chose this college?"
"Well, not just them... but they were definitely a deciding factor..." Jimin trails off before being hit with a pillow.
"What was that for?"
"That was for making fun of me you hypocrite."
"I'm not a hypocrite."
"Yes you are. And you know it."
"Whatever."
