Chapter 7: Chapter Seven
"Taehyung!" Jisoo yelled as she pushed the boy off the bed.
"What?" Taehyung yelled back.
"You have five minutes to be ready for your date with Jungkook."
"What?"
"You have five minutes to get your ass up and looking nicer than that. Hurry up."
"Oh my God." Taehyung says in realization as he rushes to pick out something to wear.
"Is this okay?"
"If you wear a different shirt, maybe." Jisoo says, looking up from picking at her nails.
He ended up with a black t-shirt with red and white letters on it, black and ripped skinny jeans, and his red converse. He pulled on a black and white flannel before brushing down his hair.
"Do I look attractive?"
"I mean, not to me, but yeah."
"Oh shut up, you don't have to throw your lesbianism in my face all the time. It's not my fault my gaydar sucks."
"Yeah it is. You haven't worked hard enough to obtain mastery gaydar levels. It's totally your fault. But we can worry about that later. You have one minute."
"Canvas or leather jacket?"
"I'd go with leather. Sometimes you just have to be that bitch."
"Great. Thanks. Don't stay forever, Namjoon is coming back tonight."
"Damn. The wifi is better over here though."
"Too bad. See you later." And with that, Taehyung was rushing down the stairs and to the fountain in the middle of campus since that's where the two decided they should meet up.
Taehyung glances down at his watch to see how late he is and realizes that he's actually twenty minutes ahead of time.
"Goddamn you, Jisoo." The man says as he sits on the edge of the fountain, prepared to wait twenty minutes for his date.
"I was kind of expecting you to be late, Mr. Kim." Someone says as they approach Taehyung who lifts his head to find the owner of the voice.
"Ah, Mr. Jeon. I wouldn't be late for this." Taehyung says, noticing that they still had ten minutes before the arranged time.
"I'm not gonna lie I showed up early to mame you feel bad but now I feel bad."
"Oh, don't. I won't lie either. Jisoo made me think I only had five minutes to get ready. And I've only been here for ten minutes, so don't feel too bad."
"Jisoo doesn't seem very nice."
"She can be, just not typically to me."
The two laugh before Jungkook says, "What if we got started early on our brisk evening walk?"
"I think that's a great idea." Taehyung says, sticking out his elbow for Jungkook to take.
It's a minor display of affection that still leaves room for both proctectiveness and personal space and that's why Taehyung loves it.
