Chapter 6: Shooting Star
***Gold's House***
Gold finally got home after walking for 30 minutes coming back from the market.
Gold: "I'm home Mother."
Hearing no response he walked in and found no one. He then walked to the courtyard and saw his mother talking to Snow.
Gold: "Oh Snow your here, perfect."
Snow: "Hello Young Master."
Gold: "I have a suprise for you and Mother."
Both Athena and Snow looked at Gold with a curiosity but said nothing while waiting for the "suprise".
Gold: "I got both of you your favorite flowers."
Gold handed Athena a bouquet of Roses and Snow a bouquet of Purple Orchids with a note card attached to both. After receiving the bouquets Athena decided to read her's out loud first.
Athena: "Dear Mother, you are nicest and sweetest mom a man could ask for. Your the only reason I get to live my life the way it is. You work hard just so I could sit at home and be lazy. You work everyday just to support my life but come home and hear me complain but I promise one day I will be the one to support you. I love you mommy thanks for everything. -Love Gold."
After reading the card Athena got up teary eyed and hugged Gold in a big huge bear hug.
Athena: "How bad did you get in trouble this time? Did you get someone pregnant or something?"
Gold: "No, I just saw the the flower shop and thought of you guys."
Snow: "I-I-I th-think it's my turn."
While blushing Snow grabbed her note card and cleared her throat.
Snow: "Dear Snow, you are the best thing that every happened to me. Without you I would have never been able to make friends. I would have locked my self away. You are the light of my life, you are the only person I want to protect besides mother and you are the only person I want to be with forever. -Your Best Friend Gold."
After reading the note card out loud she started blushing so hard that she covered her face and walked out of the room.
Athena: "Smooth move Gold."
Gold looked up innocently not knowing what he said wrong.
Gold: " Did I not add enough words?"
Athena looked at him helplessly and told him to go start Training.
***Gold's Court Yard***
Gold grabbed the old dusty sword and cleaned it off. The sword gleamed and looked fine and sharp. After inspecting it for a few minutes he finally came to a conclusion.
Gold: "This is a level 1 D grade sword. Not a bad price if I do say so myself. Well it's time to start training."
Gold was remembering the way his mother attacked and was looking at the manual.
So aim fast and at the weak points.
Gold then started slashing at the wooden dummy hitting every weak spot he can.
*** A Few Days later***
Gold practiced hard every day 10 hours a day with no brakes for a weak straight and finally managed to master the move.
Gold: "I finally managed to learn Shooting Star."
Gold then went up to to the dummy and pulled his sword out and went into stance.
Gold: "Shooting Star!"
The attack was so fast it could not be seen by the human eye. By the time the attack was over the dummies head was rolling away on the floor.
While grinning Gold exclaimed: "Nice power!"
