Chapter 3: Ch 3. Joining The Black Blood Empire (part 1)

For two weeks, James Arcoin traveled past forests, rivers, and canyons, as he now saw his destination in the distance, the other Empire that was equal to the Holy Red Empire, which was the Black Blood Empire, founded on the first dead dragon's remains.

Although the Black Blood Empire was older, it did not mean that it was a lesser power than the Holy Red Empire, as the Holy Red Empire was founded on bloodlines from the Elders, ( which are also called Elder God's), the Black Blood Empire was founded on magic, which brought them to the peak of civilization until bloodlines were introduced.

Approaching the kingdom, He realized that the Black Blood Empire was three times the size of the Holy Red Empire.

Before entering the line of people waiting to get into the city, James uttered a spell, turning himself invisible as he the walked past everyone and into the city.

But then he felt a large hand on his shoulder, and turning around he saw a giant, clothed in yellow with markings on his face, with an angry expression.

"So you think you can get in without paying the great guardsmen fee? Many have used the invisibility spell, but all will be caught." The man said as he tried to hurl James back into the line of people.

But James didn't move, make the guard even angrier until James gave the giant his true identity, the last Lord of the Arcoin Family. As the Guard turned white, he let go of James and asked for forgiveness, as he could be killed if someone knew he had touched a Lord of the Holy Red Empire.

James then handed a fee to the guard as he then was given a token, showing that he had payed, and then left quickly, leaving the giant man all alone.

He then walked an inn, and payed for a room and ate, as he was famished from his journey. After eating, he went to his room, where he then meditated on his new found bloodline.

It started when he closed his eyes and focused on a purple star and then he found himself being pulled to it. About to smash into the star, he opened his eyes and saw himself back in the room, but that he was sweating, while shaking out of fear.

After a couple moments, he then remembered what he had vowed to himself. That he would be greater than those before him. So then he meditated again and let himself be pulled into the purple star.

Inside the purple star was a glowing dark blue light, floating in the middle of the star. Touching it, James felt warm air and a very warmer object, like cloth, but skin, and then wings, like a butterfly? He reasoned that it could possibly be a fairy, but then, they had all died before the Red War. Then suddenly it disappeared.

"Who...who are you?" A girl's voice said, echoing around him.

"My name is James. James Arcoin. You... are?" James asked, looking around him.

"I am Saidia, The forgotten, fifth Queen of the race of fairies, the last goddess made from my mother, the true and only goddess of the Three God's."

"Where are we though? What is this place?"

James asked hurriedly.

"This place is, or was, the royal fairies' great palace, until it was shattered to pieces by a great weapon named "Huasshane," the shattering spear." The fairy appeared in front of James with a sad look on her face.

"None of the fairies could win against this evil weapon, and as nothing could win against it, my mother wrapped me and the other four in the fairy ether, forcing me to sleep as well as them, protecting me and the others."

"Then... Where are they? Shouldn't they be here as well?" James asked.

She smiled sadly, looking at the ground. "Each of us can be claimed by a person, but one that each in there own way change the future of our world, but are connected through a special bloodline that comes from us. As each of the royal fairies' gave a bloodline to five different people from before the war, they all disappeared from us before we dove into eternal sleep."

She then rose and fluttered before James, and poked him in the forehead as he then closed his eyes, disappearing into the black darkness.
