Chapter 10: Befriending A Companion
In his journey, he had been through a lot. He had even befriended another of his kind, it was not like it could also talk but it was more like a companion, though that companion never truly cared about anything, other than to reach that end.
He decided to name it, he called it Steph, since it was more of a gender neutral, he can't tell whether it was a female or male.
He doesn't expect an answer, even if he questioned it. So as not to discriminate he called it Steph.
Steph has been with him for a long time, or what seemed to him a long time. He didn't have any companions nor have seen any lifeforms for a long time he craved for it.
After the event with him realizing they were not alone, this was when he met Steph. He noticed that even after the long journey Steph didn't suffer any mishaps and was still well.
So he matched his speed with Steph and on they went forth on their adventure.
