Chapter 3: “Your alive!?”
I was strolling through the garden with Ree when I saw my 'killer'. Mistress Donna was sitting I would say gracefully but it's more like a unsightly sight. Just then she spotted me- "YOUR ALIVE!?" She shouted and quickly covered her mouth. "I mean good afternoon.. dear how are you" she instantly said "good afternoon" I replied and muttered bitch softly so she wouldn't catch on. "Why do you look so surprised mother? Is it because you thought I was dead?" I instantly asked "no dear your head is in the clouds I am only surprised to see you outside you always said you hated the cold and clammy weather." She replied evenly. "Well I suppose I did though it's hardly your concern regarding where I go." I said as I walked off but not before hearing her say "disgraceful slut".
Still annoyed with my encounter I walked towards the east hall where my eldest brother stayed. In this girls memory he was the kindest of all her siblings and I needed to find out who I can trust. My visit was announced and I walked in. "Baby sister! It's been so long since you visited" my eldest brother said as he swept me into a hug. He smelt like books and ink but it was a warm and comforting hug. I guess he isn't that bad. "Brother Ethan! I missed you" I said somehow being able to remember my brothers name. "Silly girl it's only been one day since we last met. Did you do something bad?" He raised his eyebrows and laughed at me. "AWWH but I really did miss you even if it was just yesterday brother." I replied sweetly. "Whatever you say little sis." He said as he gave me another hug. "So.. what do you need Ro he said calling me by my nickname.
"What do you mean by what do I need? Can't I just visit my elder bro?" I said giving him an innocent smile. "You can but you never do. You can stay if you want sis." He said laughing. I was just about to give him a good comeback when a guard entered the room. "Your highnesses, the king requests an audience with the little princess Roselyn." He said. "Now!?" I asked "yes your highness it's regarding your engagement to Prince Camden." He quickly said "ok then. Bye brother" I said before leaving the room with the guard.
