Chapter 30: Telepathic

Next day, when the sun rose, the light penetrated through the windows and it woke Ru Shi up. She frowned as she stretched and didn't find anybody besides her. She abruptly sat down. "Wait! Does this mean everything that happened yesterday was a dream?" She looked around the room and sighed in relief when she saw the familiar curtains and bed.

She got up and ran barefooted downstairs and frowned when she didn't see anyone in the living room and dining room. She sighed in disappointment. Just as she was about to go back to the room, she smelled her favorite food coming from the kitchen. "Maybe the cook is there?" She whispered as she made her way to the kitchen.
