Chapter 2: The Strongest Being
"....", nobody spoke at that moment since everyone was wary of Ayensi Sole Tiowen.
The five of the Thirteen Guardians have their guard up, only the Guardian of Life was still in his meditative position with his eyes closed, breathing deeply and slowly.
Sage Tai Shi was behind them, unconsciously shivering but still remained calm. He took a glance at the two new arrived Sages; Sage Jun Shen, an old man with a long white hair and Sage Ning Min a fat middle-aged man. The two also looked calm but when you look closer, you could see their fists clenched.
Ayensi Sole Tiowen just smiled as he looked at them one by one before asking, "Do any of you know where I can meet the representative of this world?"
The five of the Thirteen Guardians looked at each other, the Guardian of Power nodded. He looked at Emperor Wang Song and said, "You're an Emperor, right? We anoint you to be a temporary representative since you should be better at talking than us.", his tone was domineering let alone respectful while knowing that he was speaking with an Emperor, basically a ruler of a whole continent.
However, Emperor Wang Song did not mind at all but instead, accepted it, stepped forward and introduced himself to Ayensi Sole Tiowen, "Sir Ayensi Sole Tiowen, my name is Wang Song, one of the four Rulers, Emperor of the Southern Continent. I will take the position of being a representative for our world", he said with hastiness and politeness.
Ayensi Sole Tiowen clasped his hands with a cheerful smile, "Very good."
Nobody was able to tell what he meant about those two words. What did he mean by that? What did he direct it too?
'This feels great. After being alone for countless years and now, I am talking to another person and on top of that, he's polite.', Ayensi Sole Tiowen thought. None of them knew that he complimented Emperor Wang Song in his head for being polite like a little kid.
Since Emperor Wang Song introduced himself, Ayensi Sole Tiowen thought he should properly introduce himself too, "I am Ayensi Sole Tiowen,", he narrowed his eyes with a bit of a smug smile, "The Strongest Being. That is all."
"....."
"....."
Silence filled the air. Emperor Wang Song was dumbfounded by it but he didn't dare to rebuke it.
'The strongest being, huh? Might be him getting full of himself after defeating weak opponents. Basically, a big fish in a small pond', the Guardian of Power thought and didn't take what Ayensi Sole Tiowen said seriously. In fact, all of them did and thought the same way although it is a bit strange to think that way since this guy who proclaimed to be the strongest was the one who came falling from the sky. Their thoughts only led that way because they didn't feel anything from him, not a hint of energy.
"Sir Ayensi Sole-", but Emperor Wang Song was interrupted when Ayensi Sole Tiowen said;
"Don't need to call me by my full name. I'm sure you think of it as a strange name since I took it from somewhere else.", he paused and thought for a while, "How about just calling me Yen Si?"
In actuality, nobody thought that the name "Ayensi Sole Tiowen" was weird, considering that he is an alien from them. Even if his name was just some keyboard-mashing name, they wouldn't feel strange about it when his existence was already weird.
"Then, Sir Yen Si, can you tell us what is your intention in coming here?", as of now, Emperor Wang Song was being humble even if it is hard. He is an Emperor, everyone is below him. Today is a rare occurrence where there are so many people who can talk to him so casually and domineering.
Ayensi Sole Tiowen paused for a thought, 'Wait, I didn't think about this. How should I go with this?', something is troubling him and the other knew this since his expression was like an open book, 'Should I be polite too and request for permission to take people? I'm sure they will be glad and all since who wouldn't want to be under me? But I don't have that much time and they may not take me seriously, should I be a tyrant?', this really puzzled him, but after a while, he decided, 'So and so. I'll just show them that I couldn't be messed with and that I also don't have bad intentions.'
He broke the silence by answering Emperor Wang Song's question, "As I said when I greeted you all, I want to have like a disciple or something so if you could, Emperor, can you tell me where to find people filled with potential?", his tone wasn't polite, different from the way how he spoke.
"Is that all?", Emperor Wang Song doubted, "What reason is there for you to come to our world?", everyone doubted too, thinking: 'Are there no people in your world?'
"Hah, you see, your world is the closest one that I am at when I was in space with the most abundant energy.", Ayensi Sole Tiowen patiently explained.
Everyone was silence again. Questions popped out of their heads, 'Space? You were in space? Can you not lie so bluntly.', but deep inside they were a bit proud when they heard that their world has the most abundant of energy that their chins slightly tilted up.
Questioning about him being in space was common sense for them since from the very beginning of time, only a few reached the space pass the skies but none came back. They could only observe the stars and the moon from the ground by they could never reach it, it had already carved into their minds. The most reasonable explanation they want to hear was this man came from the heavens.
The Guardian of Knowledge didn't say anything but he also thought so. The image of Ayensi Sole Tiowen to their heads was disrespectable, they thought of him as a liar and arrogant, easily proclaiming himself as the strongest being.
But, of course, their attitude towards him will still be polite. They had yet to know what his real strength was. They were sure that Ayensi Sole Tiowen knew their strength since they are naturally emitting energy fluctuations subconsciously but he was not being wavered, but rather, looking and speaking with confidence. He may be just a fool but they don't want to take risks, they clearly saw what he did when he fell from the sky. This man is clearly stronger than them so they could only go along with him until they are sure they can go against him. They still didn't worry much since he is not showing that much danger.
"I see, I know such a place and I can easily let you in there.", Emperor Wang Song said with a smile but with a blink of an eye, it suddenly became solemn, "However, can you please tell us if you are harmful or not, Sir Yen Si?", he directly looked at Ayensi Sole Tiowen at the eyes.
Everyone was quiet and didn't say anything. They think that how the Emperor talked right now is appropriate.
But Ayensi Sole Tiowen only raised his eyebrows to reply.
"Please understand that this is for our own safety and as you said, you are the strongest being so we are naturally wary of you.", Emperor Wang Song said in sincerity.
At the same time, the Guardian of Power stood up and clenched his Warhammer. The Guardian of Knowledge put his book aside while the Guardian of Light, Spirits, and Nature stepped forward, signifying that they are there while bringing out their weapons: spear, sword, and staff respectively. The Guardian of Life was the only one who stayed still in his meditative position. The three Sages, although strong, they decided to stay put in their position, they are still filled with anxiety despite the calm expressions.
Ayensi Sole Tiowen just looked at them with a smile, while his gaze paused for a short moment at the sight of the Guardian of Nature since he thought she was very cute. It's been so long since he had seen another person let alone a girl that he forgot how girls looked like and could no longer understand why men sought for women. In other words, he forgot about love, lust, and other things related to relationships. Now that he saw one and one top of that, she was a cute girl, he felt satisfied that he had come to that world.
Ayensi Sole Tiowen pointed his finger up and said with an unchanging smile, making him looked like a villain to them who kept his composure, "It depends; if you treated me bad then I will treat you bad and vice versa."
"How can we know that you are not lying?", Emperor Wang Song bluntly asked.
"You really doubt me, huh?", Ayensi Sole Tiowen thought, 'Not that I don't understand it. I practically came down from the sky and from the space which makes me a total stranger who came from another world for all of you.'
