Chapter 4: PRINCE SATAN plot a plan
KHRIS says PRINCE YOU KNOW ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT RULES AND REGULATIONS, THEY AREN'T INTERESTED IN PEOPLE'S WELFARE, LET IT BE ANY COUNTRIES GOVERNMENT IT WOULD THINK ONLY ABOUT ITSELF AND ABOUT ITS PEOPLES. WE HAVE PERSONALLY READ IN LOTS OF MAGAZINES AND NEWSPAPERS OF HOW POOR IS GOVERNMENT'S RULES AND LAWS AND HOW IMPOTENT IT HAS BECOME IN SAVING PEOPLES LIFE. IF THE MATTER RELATES TO ITS OWN PEOPLE IN POWER LIKE THE MINISTERS AND ITS OFFICIALS THEN THE MATTER WOULD GET SOLVED IN FRACTION OF DAYS AND SOMETIMES HOURS BUT IF THE SAME IS REALATED TO THIS TYPES OF INNOCENT PEOPLES THEN I GUESS RULES ARE JUST MADE TO EYEWASH THEM AND NOTHING MORE.
SATAN looks at KHRIS smiles and says I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON IN YOUR BRAIN BUT I DON'T THINK YOU ARE HAVING THE SAME THOUGHT AS I AM GUESSING NOW. KHRIS nods his head and signs that he is right and is mind is having the same thought
PRINCE says NO KHRIS, THIS IS NOT THE CORRECT SOLUTION, HOW CAN YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT THAT. MY FRIEND WE STILL HAVE SOMETHING CALLED GOVERNMENT RULES AND LAW, WE CAN GO TO COURT, PROVE THAT THE FACTORY ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RIVER IS CONTAMINATING THE LAKE AND KILLING ALL THE FISH, SEA CREATURES IN THIS LAKE AND EVEN WE HAVE SOIL SAMPLES TO PROVE IT, I DON'T THINK WE NEED TO GO BY THAT WAY.
KHRIS gets terribly angry and bursts GOVERNMENT, RULES AND SHIT LAWS. THIS THINGS ARE THE CALL GIRLS OF AFFLUENT PEOPLE WHO FUCK THEM ON THEIR BEDS DAILY. THIS GOVERNMENT PEOPLE PLAY WITH THE PEOPLE. WHAT DO YOU THINK? YOU THINK YOU ARE THE FIRST PERSON GOING TO COURT, THOSE LAW HOUSES DOESN'T HAVE ANY OTHER CASE, THERE ARE LAKHS OF PENDING CASE. IF YOU GO TO COURT AND FIGHT THE CASE, YOU MIGHT WIN, THOUGH NOT NOW BUT AFTER MONTHS OR YEARS AND BY THAT TIME WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO THIS VILLAGE AND IT'S PEOPLE. HAVE YOU THOUGHT ABOUT THAT? THE GOVERNMENT HAS GIVEN THEM A GRACE TIME OF 30 DAYS AND IN THAT THIS PEOPLE HAVE ALREADY LOST 15 DAYS IN TRAVELLERS TO THAT JUNGLE AND COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE. THE GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS WOULD COME ANY TIME AND WOULD TRY THEIR BEST TO DRIVE THIS PEOPLE AWAY, WE CAN ASK THE VILLAGE PEOPLE TO BOOK THE CASE AGAINST THE GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS ONLY AFTER EXECUTING OUR PLAN, BEFORE THAT WE SHOULD ASK THE VILLAGERS TO KEEP THEIR RECORDS, PAPERS READY BUT THE GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS SHOULDN'T KNOW THAT WE ARE HERE HELPING THIS VILLAGERS AND IF THEY KNOW THAT THEN IT WILL BECOME IMPOSSIBLE FOR US TO GET OUR PLAN EXECUTED.
PRINCE nods OK and both of them fall asleep and when it is morning, villagers finish of their morning routines and when both SATAN and KHRIS wakes up, they see all the villagers awaiting for them. PRINCE looks at the villagers and asks them to take him to the washroom, so that he can pee, bath and brush his teeth. They take him to a open space, he looks all around and sees no room and asks WHERE IS THE BATHROOM? The villagers show him the places to pee and after that how they wash and brush their teeth near river side. He feels like vomiting and comes to KHRIS and says MY FRIEND WHAT IS THIS? I CAN'T DO THAT? SHITTING IN OPEN SPACE IS A PUBLIC NUISANCE AND HOW DO THIS PEOPLE DO IT, WHAK?
KHRIS says to village members to stay there and asks them that he along with SATAN would go to the city and would purchase the rice, drinking water and vegetables and would return by afternoon. SATAN asks TILL THAT TIME WHAT WOULD YOU PEOPLE DO WITH HUNGRY. The villagers say that FOR MONTHS WE HAVE STAYED HUNGRY, IT IS JUST FEW HOURS. They ask both of them to go. They both ride the jeep and after some distance KHRIS puts a brake and returns back to the village, the village head comes running towards the jeep looking at that even the villagers follow their head. KHRIS looking at the village head and villagers say IF ANY OF THE GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS COME TO THIS PLACE, DON'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT US. THEY SHOULDN'T KNOW THAT WE BOTH ARE HERE. SAY TO THEM THAT YOU PEOPLE DON'T HAVE ANY INTEREST IN LEAVING THIS PLACE AND THAT YOU PEOPLE ARE READY TO DIE BUT NOT INTERESTED IN QUITTING THIS PLACE. WE WOULD RETURN BY THE SAME WAY AND IF THE OFFICIALS STAY HERE, THEN INFORM US ABOUT THAT.
BUT HOW asks PRINCE. THIS PEOPLE DON'T EVEN HAVE MOBILE PHONES, HEY WAIT, YOU KEEP MY PHONE. KHRIS stops and says to take his phone back and says to the villagers LOOK AT THAT BOY, I GUESS HE CAN COME TO THAT ROADSIDE END, CLIMB ON THE TREE AND STOP ME THERE. The villagers agree to do so. KHRIS asks the villagers about the stamp revenue papers of their lands, though it is tough for them to trust the strangers still they handover their lands document to SATAN and KHRIS. They wait for the both to arrive. Meanwhile the government officials come back to the villagers and get astonished to see the villagers back in their place.
