Chapter 1: Prologue
In the depth of the forest, there was a man in black cloak looking at the scene before him.
Blood and gore filled the entire area as he looked towards the shiny ring that floated in the air on the altar of Hemisn. The ring exuded the majestic power to the surrounding area by turning the transparent mana into a purple color which rippled liked a waves in the ocean.
"A lot of people died for this but not me." The man walked forward before stretching out his hand to grab the ring. But as soon as his hand touched the ring, he felt an unbearable pain assaulting his entire body as if it tried to consume his soul.
"ARGHHH....WHAT'S HAPPENING??!!!" He screamed, trashing his body wildly to ease the pain.
While he was starting to lose conscious, his eyes drifted toward a certain direction in the area. He could see a vague figure slowly standing up among the corpse of people. The figure nimbly walked toward him while brandishing the sword and placed it on his neck.
The figure looked at him with a smile before his conscious turned black.
