After school, we went to Megumi's Dojo.
Mitsue gave me this information on my email. I felt Mitsue knew something and wasn't telling me. Yumi thought.
When we saw the files, it was shocking.
They have information on us as if we're a w•k• or something? I replied. You could say that again. Yumi replied. Are you sure Mitsue gave this to you? I asked. Yes, it's weird. Today our interaction was weird. As he whispered in my ear. It was as if he didn't exist or not of this world. Yumi replied. Why would you come to that conclusion? Ichiko asked. He used some type of spell to drive you away, Ichiko. Yumi replied. Now that I think about it. When I walked over to you, I felt a being that is not of this world, too. Ichiko replied.
Megumi walked into the room.
I know all about who you are talking about. He must be "that" God who is under a punishment for a taboo. Megumi replied. What do you mean? I asked. Why isn't it obvious? He fell in love with a human woman. Yumi resembles that human woman. Only difference is that you possess Acedia magic. She was a holy woman and a treasure of the church that caught his eye. Megumi replied. What are you saying, Megumi? Yumi asked. You are that woman's descendant. He has waited for thousands of years to see your face, Yumi. Megumi replied. What? Yumi asked. Let's get back on the subject. Megumi replied. That guy has to be in line with either Izanami or the church because this is on another level of information. I replied.
The lights went out.
Yumi's collarbone hurt again. She grabbed her collarbone and pointed her sword at him. Hadeon, why are you here? Yumi slashed through his spell. Why aren't you the astute one? Hadeon asked. The two looked at each other. Hadeon summoned a sword. Yumi charged at him. He blocked. She touched his stomach. Megumi opened a portal, and he ended up on the roof. Yumi transformed and came down like a bolt of lightning.
He couldn't block it.
Yumi turned around. Her attack was cut in half. So you are among them I see? Yumi asked. It's been awhile, White-haired Sword Empress. Raphael replied. Yumi had a blank stare on her face. What are you going to do if you are surrounded? Raphael asked.
A three multilayered spell circle appeared above Hadeon and Raphael.
You wouldn't dare. Rapheal replied. Ichiko and I appeared behind Hadeon and Raphael. What's a big shot of the church doing here? I asked. What gives you authority to think I should answer you? Rapheal asked. I see your rank has gotten to your head. Megumi replied. He turned around. Why if it isn't Megumi Shura? Raphael asked. Leave Yumi and these kids alone before you see why I am known of as one of the Goddess of Annihilation. Megumi replied.
Hadeon and Rapheal felt Megumi's magic swelling up. We have to leave. Megumi Shura has the power and authority to oppose us like the "other one" too. Rapheal replied.
The two left in Hadeon's portal.
You one of the goddesses of annihilation? I asked. What?! Everyone yelled. Yes, but I have been out of commission for years because I have a family to care for. Megumi replied. Your a mom? Emma and Minori asked. I couldn't imagine you a mom, Megumi. Natsumi replied. True. Yoshi replied. Yes, their names are Kaoru and Ren. They are fraternal twins. Megumi replied. How are those handfuls now of days? I asked. Still full of energy. You know what she told me to tell you, Haru. Megumi replied. What is it? I asked. When I get older, I want to be strong like Haru! Megumi replied. Oh Kaoru. I replied. Yumi, your baby sister said the same thing. Megumi replied. Ally said that about me? Yumi asked. You have a little sister? Minori asked. Yes, we just have different fathers. Yumi replied. I almost forgot since you rarely go to see your mom. I replied. Yumi crosses her arms and sighs. That is true, but I really don't like her older brother. He is a colossal pain to me. Yumi replied. Can you look past that, Yumi? Megumi replied. Whatever. Yumi replied.
A portal appeared. Megumi rolled her eyes.
Shura. Shiro replied. General Yukimoto. Megumi replied. Why are you leading my daughter down the life of danger? I don't want her to end up in a life of ruin. Shiro replied. If I remember exactly, you are the last person I want to be lectured by. Megumi replied.
