Daedalus Street is a wide residential area for the poor class located between Orario's east and southeast Main Streets.
This residential area was built right at the beginning of the time when gods came to the lower realm a thousand years ago. It is named after its designer "Daedalus," a legendary craftsman in history.
This place might be a residential area, but it had a complicated structure. There were many stairs and streets which led in an unexpected direction, like a maze, which made this place extremely unorganized and disorderly.
Therefore, it is also called the "other dungeon" by everyone.
Not to mention the outsiders, but even the residents who lived in this place all their lives would also sometimes get lost, so no one really knew how deep this place was, and it was the number one mystery in the Orario.
The sun had just risen, and everyone from the Loki Familia arrived in this place.
"Tsk, tsk, how troublesome."
Bete walked on the road, watching the complicated maze-like street, and it made his mood even irritable.
Tsukasa didn't say anything and stared at Daedalus Street in silence since he must admit this place was complicated. However, compared to a dungeon, it was nothing. Still, it was his first time coming to this place, and he looked around curiously.
"This is Daedalus Street."
Finn wasn't surprised by everyone's reaction since his reaction was quite similar to theirs when he saw it for the first time. "If you don't follow the signs, you will get lost. It's hard to imagine that craftsmen from thousand years ago could build such a maze-like street."
As they walked, many people started to notice them.
"Wow! It's the Loki Familia!"
"That's Vanargand, Elgarm, and Braver!"
"What about Sirius?"
"Where's Sirius?"
"I won't accept a Loki Familia without Sirius! Sirius, where are you?!"
Many children clamored around the group.
Because of the low land price, this is the famous slum area of Orario, but the surrounding area is quite close-packed. Each building is two or three stories high, the clothes hangers are full of clothes, and the old people sit by the roadside.
On the other hand, Finn looked at Tsukasa subtly.
Tsukasa rolled his eyes and asked, "By the way, Finn, we have an ally, right? Should we have to do everything by ourselves?" He felt their allies were useless since they couldn't even help them.
"The Hermes Familia and Dionysus Familia can't do anything, so they leave everything to us..." Finn knew Tsukasa was too lazy to do this matter, but he must admit that their allies didn't even help them, which made him speechless.
Still, Finn realized this guy tried to change the topic of their conversation, but as a good leader, he didn't intend to mention it since he didn't really feel good when he heard Tsukasa's popularity was higher than him.
Yet what could he do?
Finn could only lament that he wasn't as handsome as Tsukasa.
"There's a high possibility that there are remnants of the Evilus hiding in this place. Next, we will divide them into several teams and search separately."
Finn decided to focus on the mission first.
"Remember where we should meet, and don't let your guard down. If you find something, you have to prioritize the safety of everyone first!"
Finn kept telling everyone what they should do.
The team was divided into four, and each of them was led by Finn, Gareth, Bete, and Tsukasa.
When Finn told them their task, Tsukasa felt fortunate that he didn't have to go to the underground sewer like Bete. He had a sensitive nose, and the smell of the sewer was just torture for him. He walked around with his team before seeing a group of children playing in front of the church-like building.
Yet what attracted him wasn't the group of children. Instead, the older woman took care of the group of children with a smile.
"What's wrong, Tsukasa?"
"Nothing." Tsukasa shook his head when he heard his teammate's words.
The mature woman seemed to notice them and gave a gentle smile in their direction.
Tsukasa also nodded and didn't bother to approach her since the situation and occasion weren't suitable.
When they left, the group of children became curious and asked.
"Mother, who is that?"
"...They should be Loki Familia?" The mature woman became slightly curious but also worried since she knew there should be a reason why the Loki Familia came to Daedalus City, and it definitely wasn't a good reason.
Still, when Tsukasa was about to continue his walk, he didn't expect Bete would directly find something amiss in the underground sewer. Even though he didn't want to come, he knew he had to gather with everyone.
When he arrived, he pinched his nose and walked toward the dark underground passage with disgust on his face. After all, next to him, there was a waste that came from the entire Orario. The smell was so pungent that it made him almost vomit.
The people behind him also weren't much better than him.
"Let's walk faster. The faster we arrive, the faster we go back." Tsukasa didn't want to stay in this place any longer, and everyone thought the same.
"Tsukasa, here!"
Hearing Finn's voice, they quickly approached the 15 people who had been waiting.
"You're late!" Bete snorted.
However, Tsukasa ignored Bete and looked at the massive gate in front of him. He could clearly tell that the gate was made of metal. 'Don't tell me?' He knocked on the metal gate, making a dull sound echo through the sewer. "Is this made from Oricalchum?"
"Yeah." Finn was also speechless when he found out.
"What?!"
"How can that be?!"
"Isn't that the highest quality material in the world?"
"No one can break this thing!"
Everyone exclaimed in surprise.
However, their reaction was normal since the Oricalchum was a precious thing.
The indestructible weapons that Finn and others asked Tsubaki to make cost more than 100 million valis each, and they only used a small amount of Oricalchum.
Yet the metal gate in front of them was at least three meters in length and width.
If they excluded the labor cost, leaving only the material cost, it would cost more than one billion valis!
Tsukasa was speechless and wondered whether he should steal this gate.
"But with this, everything is already clear."
"It's obvious that this is the place where the Evilus gathers."
Finn and Gareth exchanged their views.
"I smell the smell of the man-eating plants here."
Bete's nose twitched, then looked at the sewer not far away with disgust. The smell was so intense that he almost vomited his breakfast.
"Frankly, I think this is a trap."
Tsukasa joined their conversation with a serious expression since he could clearly see that this was a trap for them.
"It's too easy for us to find the enemy's stronghold. Don't you think they're deliberately trying to let us enter their hiding place?"
"Yeah, I feel the same way."
Finn nodded in agreement, biting his thumb reflexively.
"I am afraid there will be a battle waiting for us inside."
It was easy to guess, and they could clearly see that they were waiting for the Loki Familia to enter, turning them into a group of rats in the trap.
"However, we must stop the conspiracy of the remnants of the Evilus. We don't know when they plan to summon the fallen spirit again, but we can't let them continue. The longer we delay, the more dangerous our situation is, so we have to enter this gate!"
Even if this place was a trap, Finn didn't intend to just stop in front of the gate. However, he lowered his head for a moment and pondered before he said, "Send a message to Loki and tell them to go back. We have to gather everyone before we start this battle!"
During this period, preparation had to be done.
Finn felt that this thumb was painful, and Tsukasa could feel that this place was dangerous.
This type of danger was comparable, or even worse than meeting the fallen spirit clone on the 59th Floor!
This proves that there was definitely a dangerous situation waiting for them inside.
However, for the survival of the Orario, the Loki Familia had to stand up!
"Get ready for the Daedalus Street battle!"
