Chapter 5: 6.Second floor
Kimley's soul had grown, inside of it was an egg. It was constantly pulsating constantly nourishing his soul, currently his soul matched his physical and essence cultivation, heaven early layer.
"That's a mental seed, only a few people can have that, its a sign of entering the first stage of soul cultivation." Groot spoke.
Soul cultivators were a horrifying bunch of people in the martial world, as they could kill people without others knowing.
Their attacks were sharp and precise, a legend was there that if one could reach the level of real being fake and fake being real, illusions to reality and reality back to illusions, they could materialize any object in the universe. But reaching such a level was going against the heavens none have reached that level yet.
Kimley rushed into the second floor, by now only four hundred of the participants were left in the tower.
A long range of stairs was in front of him, the goal was to climb all the nine hundred and ninety nine stairs to the peak.
As he took his first step, he felt the pressure of a boulder. He started ascending quickly like the wind.
He only had ten steps left but the pressure here was like mountains were ontop of him.
His body cracked as he took his steps, the nine world tree nourished him with non ending vitality.
Finally reaching the last step.
"For breaking the record of time spent in climbing the stairs to heaven, contestant XXX will receive the heaven tenant soul manual."
The tower spirit spoke.
A series of information was sent to Kimley's mind. A soul manual that taught someone how to reach the concept of reality being illusions. The writer of the manual was a strong soul cultivator, but he probably couldn't reach the concept of turning illusions to reality.
" I leave this manual in hope that you will achieve the highest level in soul cultivation, do not let me down junior." A voice was heard when the stream of information ended in his brain.
After that the tower spirit materialized in-front of him and knelt.
"Master."
"When was I your master."
"When you received the heaven tenant soul manual, this whole tower officially became yours."
"Take me to the core of the tower."
Kimley was teleported to the core, a saber was floating in-front of him.
He made a cut on his fingertip and a drop of blood landed on the saber. The saber rushed and entered his dantian. At that moment all the participants were kicked out of the tower including Kimley.
"Where did the tower go?" A few people started asking questions.
The tower was actually a saber. One at the divine level at that. It could cut through all weapons like a hot knife on butter.
"Since the tower is gone the remaining participants will do a strength test to determine the rankings."
"Conceding, stepping out of the ring or immobility will be counted as a loss."
Emperor Ley's voice was heard.
"Only those of earth mid layer are allowed entrance." He added
Thirty participants stepped out, the highest being a heaven mid layer the lowest an earth mid layer cultivator.
