Chapter 1: reunion
a bright sunny day. birds chirping outside singing their love songs. the air being so fresh that i could stay here forever. in his arms. my lips touching his. i heard a faint voice calling my name."Linda! Linda!" it got louder and louder till my eyes opened.
it was only a dream. i sat up from the hospital bed to find my mother crying. she was smiling. "dear, we have a suprise for you" she looked at the doorway "you can come in" she said. a tall masculine figure approached me . his hair brown as burned wood messy aswell. his eyes so soft that could still pierce through your heart. his eyes blue as the ocean. skin so pale as a white petal. the smile so pure and innocent that soothed me on the inside. " Hi Linda. Long time no see. you probably dont remember me. I'm the mystery boy from 10 years ago. i heard about the incident few days ago. I'm sorry about what happened the day after i disappeared. I was told that you left with your family because of me. But i guess that was a lie. ever since that day i have been trying to find you. I found the person who is responsible. Well my name is Luke. I seem to be here for two reasons. Buisness, and personal." he said hiding his blushed face at the last sentence. "What actually happened. because i dont seem to remember anything from 10 years ago and my previous years. im only able to recall my time spent in the hospital. but you do seem familiar. i get told im turning 18 this month but the thing is i wish i could remember the birthdays o had before i lost my memories. i cant go outside because its dangerous for me. but i dont understand why. noone tells me anything about the incident." i looked outside the window with tears streaming down my face i placed my hand on the window as it is the closest i will ever be to the outside. "its as if i will have to spend my entire life in a hospital. i wont ever be able to feel the trees. the grass. the heat from the sun. the beach the warm water touching my feet. i will never be able to touch it. its as if-" i broke down kneeling on the floor tears falling and falling not showing signs of stopping. i felt a wamr hand touch my shoulder and i seemed to feel calm on the inside. i looked who it was and it was him. " promise me that you wont cry. because the reason i came here is to help you leave this hospital. my buisness here is to help you go home. or even our home. our families have decided because of the incident it would be best to stick close since my family put you in danger unknowinlgy they decided this is a apology. but i guess i forced my parents to agree to this marriage. thats my personal reason. i guess now its a comfession from me. I-I love you." he said with a smile and tears building up in his eyes. seeing him upclose now looked like his been crying for ages. not had enough sleep. it seems that he was in pain. without relisation i had my lips against his . when i relised i quickly took them away and shuffeled back in shock. from his facial expression he seemed to not understand what just happened either. "I-im sorry i dont know what happ-" before i could finish my sentence he pulled me closer to him and kissed me gently. i couldnt push him away because i seemed to enjoy myself. i shut my eyes and let myself do what i wanted i lost control of myself. i was laying on the floor with him on top of me.
after that i agreed to marry him. if it was their apology for that unknown incident i guess i could accept this apology. within an hour i was taken out of the hospital. but still unable to feel the fresh breeze. i got placed in a car with Luke. My mother was there too. she was so happy that i was finally out of the hospital which was like a prison. i was able to look at the outside from the window. i seemed to feel calm. it was a very long journey for me to get to my new home. i fell asleep. that dream appeared again. why was he in the dream before i even met him. "Linda. wake up." i woke up to a massive house in front of us. " we have arrived" i noticed i was not in the car but in Lukes arms. i felt a breeze and looked up in the sky and a warm breeze blew and i was able to feel the warm sun on my skin. it felt lovely. "you can put me down now" i said touching my skin where the sunlight was shining. "not yet. i want to hold you a little longer. after all i could hold you for another 10 years not letting you go." he said with cheeky smile on his face. his cheeks turned bright pink from the embarrassing thing he just said. "alright i will let you carry me me like a princess or a bride for a bit" i said smiling back.
after the tour he placed me on his bed. and gave me some clothes to wear after i had a shower. "if you need anything just press this button and theres one i had specially placed in the shower if you need help. i will come as quick as possible. " he said it with a worried look on his face.
"wait if i press the button and im in the shower. you are going to be coming. " i asked with a confused look on my face. "yes is that a proble-" before he could finish his sentence he finally understood what he just said and his face went bright red. "i guess you didnt think it through. but i guess its alright. after all we are going to be married. we will eventually have to see each other without clothes on" i said as i stood up and walked closer to him. i gave him a kiss and walked straight to the bathroom turning the shower on. when i was about to check if the water was now colder i was preparing to take of my clothes which i have worn all day. but i suddenly got pulled into the cold shower.
