Chapter 176: Parents

Two days before Easter, Justin worked diligently in the garage trying to put the finishing touches on the upgraded version of the laundry folding machine. Emily's movie was on a break because the main actor had pneumonia and had collapsed on set from being on his feet for twelve hours when sick.

Since it was around a holiday and almost all of the scenes without this actor had already been shot they halted production. She had spent most of her break so far sleeping and catching up on her TV shows. She didn't have to go back to work until Tuesday.

With power tools running Justin couldn't hear his name being called until after he turned them off. He looked up and saw his parents standing in the doorway staring at him with different degrees of shock. The Burnetts weren't able to come until the day of because of training.
