Chapter 44: FLASHBACK - The Countdown starts (1)

Kate immediately started working. She couldn't protect herself without a team. Even though she was practically a genius but still a team was essential. And for a team she needed money, to fund them - a lot of money and that too real quick. The only way she could achieve this was through the black market. She immediately logged into her laptop and then locked herself up in her room, creating a virus. This virus was something that couldn't be detected by any antivirus or software easily. It would hide itself amongst the files inside a computer. It wouldn't harm any of the files but will stop the owner from any of the files. As the owner will open any file on the infected computer, the file will immediately shut down and then the computer will switch off and restart again. As such it was a very simple virus without damaging anything, but for big corporations these files were important. Not being able to open them would delay all their contracts and important work. If this happened across all the companies in the country for a week or so the transactions would become so less that the FDI's would stop and immediately the economy of the country will take a bad hit. Kate was confident no one will be able to stop her virus other than herself. She immediately sent the virus through a simple email to all the major corporations in the company. Since it was still night, no one would open her mails, but she knew that the next morning, the company would be in a havoc. She then started working on the anti-virus. She didn't have much time to spare. Then she immediately contacted the person who made the iris copy for her. Instead of contacting him through the black computer, she found out his real identity and hacked into his computer. Since he himself was a hacker he tried blocking her, but Kate had already reached a level far beyond the expert hackers. After successfully hacking into his computer she started talking to him.
