Before he could climb though he has to take care of one minor problem. The place was literally surrounded by cameras he would easily be spotted.
When he first showed his Aunt his powers he didn't realise he was absorbing the Eletricity from the building. It was the reason he didn't feel tired after using his powers. He was always absorbing electricity, he knew he had a limit he just didn't know what that limit was.
A power box in the back of the building no one would ever think to guard a power box. It was Alex's target he kept to the shadows slowly making his way to the box. Once he reached it he placed his palm on it, he could feel the electricity flowing through the whole building.
He absorbed it all, pulling till the last spark. He didn't have a lot of time they probably had a back up generator and it would be on soon.
He quickly latched onto the wall sticking to it like his favorite wall crawler. To him it never got old he could remember the goose bumps he got when he first saw Peter Parker try and climb walls.
He scaled the wall as fast as he could through the windows he could see people frantically running around. He didn't have time to waste hos biggest advantage would be the dark.
Finally reaching the top of the building Asked searched for his access point. A door leading to the stairs, he quietly opened the door. sneaking down the stairs. Training with his Aunt was a daily occurrence for the last month thanks to that his eyes were well adjusted to darkness.
Even in the dark security was sweeping the floor but Alex didn't have to go far. the corner office next to the stairs was hos target. After the last security guard walked by with flash light 1 snuck to the door. He quietly opened closing it just as carefully behind him.
He walked to the computer taking a seat electricity flowed from his finger tips giving the computer enough d's 16z juice to turn on. He 1 the USB drive in the computer and watched as it slowly loaded.
sweat formed on his forehead, Alex was 100% sure that a security guard would eventually open that door or that the power would turn on messing up his escape plan.
Luckily neither of those happened he grabbed the USB drive pocketing it he walked towards the door. He slowly opened it peeking out he saw no flash lights.
He swiftly walked towards the elevator knowing it was the only place no one would be. He zapped the door powering the doors making them open.
His plan was simple use the elevator suspension cables to slide down to the second floor. He measured the distance he knew he could make it he backed up taking a running start he jumped.
He used electricity to coat his hands latching on the the cable securely. He quickly lowered himself to the 2nd floor not having to worry about fiction burning his hand allowed him to slide down the cable.
Shocking the elevator door he made sure he didn't see any security guards before turning to the stairs. This was the last step as long as he could make it down those stairs and out of the building without being seen he would get off Scott free them never knowing he was here.
The stair well was empty the guards were probably assigned to higher floors. He made sure his hat covered his face before opening the door and walking towards the exit.
He was relying on the darkness to assist him in going unnoticed. He had made it 1/4th of the way cleanly, walking slow so no one would think he was suspicious. When he finally reached the halfway point he couldn't help but smile sure his plan wasn't perfect but it seemed like it would get the job done. 'This may have be a little too easy' Alex thought in his head, and that was when it happened the lights flickered on.
The backup generator had finally kicked on resupplying electricity to every part of the building. That was when ever agent, guard, person on the first floor realised how suspicious he truly looked. Alex didn't have time to the think he dashed for the door. He stopped as he was cut off by two people wearing masks.
The one on the left pointed his palms at Alex " Stop now and we don't have to hurt you."Alex felt the voice was familiar but the voice sounded muffled by the mask or he would have immediately recognized it.
Alex knew he couldn't stop so instead of replying he charged his hands with electricity. The man on the left seemed to understand as he nodded to the woman on his right. She charged at Alex like a cheetah her hands glowed with a diamond like sheen Before hardening. Alex dodged not wanting to take on that hit, He barely had time to react when the man on the left shot green energy brand from his hand targeting Alex.
Alex rolled to the side dodging both energy blast and if he didn't know then he definitely knew now. The one on the left was Aiden and the female with diamond skin was Amy.
Either they had both been kidnapped and brainwashed to work for Hanson or this was all a part of his Aunts elaborate ploy to test their capabilities.
Alex did the only think he could, he delayed he knew he couldn't just stop the fight showing them who he was. His Aunt surely wouldn't reward him, this was a test not only for him but for Aiden and Amy as well.
Alex could tell whatever training they were currently doing was paying off with Amy in the front like a tank Aiden had tine to charge and aim his energy blast. Although they had great team work Alex knew their weaknesses, Amy could only attack in close range her diamond form slowed her down. Aiden had low stamina and wouldn't be able to continue shooting energy blast for much longer.
Alex waited for Amy to strike again dodging again but this time he was ready for Aiden. He had already shot the energy blast a couple times and was breathing heavily Alex dodged the incoming green blast before charging towards Aiden who was standing in front of the pathway out.
Alex raised his hat showing his face effectively suprising Aiden to the point where he couldn't move. Alex quickly charged a little Eletricity touching Aiden shoulder as he ran past shocking Aiden his body fell to the ground shaking. It wouldn't cause any actuall damage but the reason Alex did it was simple he wanted his Aunt to think he didn't know. He didn't even turn back to look at Aiden only reminding himself to apologize later.
