Chapter 1: The beginning of something new

I wake up looking around and ask myself "how...how did I let this happen this t-this is not what I wanted, not what i planned." I stare at the fiery pit of something I used to love the city, the people..... their gone now and I have to make it on my own. at least until this world, my world can be great again. I close my eyes and begin to silently cry. "A new beginning, maybe this will be a g-good thing" I can barely get the words out. "No one can hear me, not anymore." Before I knew it the portal opened behind me. I shed one last tear before saying goodbye and turning my form into human. Before I walk into the portal I say one last thing. " Goodbye, my world ".
