Chapter 9: Episode 9
"I hate her.." Serena growls as she glares at Morgan and the group.
Stacy didn't hear her but was instead in her phone.
"Stacy? You there?" Serena raised a brow.
"Oh! Yeah." Stacy jumps.
Serena sighs. "Hey, you've been out of it lately. What's up?"
"Nothing!" Stacy growls.
Serena nods. "Sorry!"
"Whatever." Stacy rolls her eyes. "So, you know how I've been stooping around what Morgan's past in stores?"
Serena nods. "Yeah! Did you find out she has a baby or something?!"
"Well the only thing I got so far is what school she went to. Which isn't far from here." Stacy smiles. "Do you want to take a road trip?"
Serena grabs her keys. "Always!"
"So you are saying that they treat you like that all the time?" Bri looks at Sofia sad like.
Sofia nods. "But it's okay. I'm fine. I promise." She puts on a weak smile.
"Stop it. You don't have to be fake with us." Bri smiles warmly at her.
"They seem to be getting along.." Victoria whispers to Morgan.
Morgan nods. "I know..it's a little scary.." She whispers back.
Bri and Sofia both giggle.
"So Bri, how come you just started here?" Victoria asks.
Bri sighs. "Welll..my parents aren't together and I lived with my mom before last week but some things happened so now I'm here with my dad and going here." She smiles.
"Oh." Victoria nods. "Sorry I-"
"No! It's all good!" Bri smiles at her.
Victoria smiles back. "Well I hope you like it here. I mean we are all friendly."
Bri giggles. "Well some of you are."
Victoria nudges Morgan.
"Huh?" Morgan looks at her. "Sorry I was day dreaming. What are we talking about?"
"Nothing. Just that you need to be friendlier." Victoria laughs.
"HEY! I am too friendly!" Morgan protests.
*On the road*
"Wow. I forgot how powerful you are sometimes." Serena says as she drives.
Stacy laughs. "Well, it helps that my mother is the vice principal there." She scrolls on her phone. "Okay, it says that to get off on highway 78."
Serena reads the highway sign. "Looks like we have to sit here for a while."
Stacy looks at the sign too. "Damn.."
The sign reads, Highway 64.
*In the hallway*
"Have fun in art!" Victoria waves bye to Morgan and Bri. She looks over at Sofia. "You okay?"
Sofia nods. "Peachy!" She weakly smiles again.
"Slut!" A boy coughs under his breath as both girls pass by.
Sofia walks faster.
Victoria shakes her head. Morgan pops up in her mind. Her feet stop moving.
"Vic?" Sofia notices Victoria not beside her. She stops and turns around. Her eye's widen when she sees Victoria standing in front of a boy. The boy was on his knees. Holding his junk.
"You bitch!" The boy yells in pain.
"Victoria.." Sofia rushes to her. "Stop..you don't have to do this.."
Victoria nods. "This boy called you a name." She glares down at him. "Apologize to her!"
The boy groans. "Eat shit! Bitch!"
Victoria goes to hit him but someone grabs her arm. "Huh?!" She looks at the person and sees Morgan.
"Don't.." Morgan pushes her away. "Both of you get to class. Now!"
Victoria and Sofia both look at her.
"No! He-" Victoria goes to say when Morgan stops her.
"NOW!" Morgan shouts at her.
Victoria growls. She picks her books up before running off with Sofia.
People all whisper around them.
Morgan grabs the boy's hair.
"Fuck you!" He shouts.
A teacher is heard yelling from the distant.
"Looks like we got some time to kill." She smiles.
The boy frowns. "Wait!"
*In the Vice Principals Office*
"Yes. Thank you. You have a nice day." Stacy's mom hangs up the phone. She sighs as she looks over at Morgan and the boy. "Miss Williams and Mister Lubo. What happened?"
"She beat me!" The boy's face was busted and bloody.
"Here." Stacy's mom hands him a tissue box.
Morgan laughs. "I only did it because he called me a awful name."
"And what name was that?" Stacy's mom looks at them.
"I can't..." Morgan starts to tear up. "It hurt me..." She pretends to sob.
"Here you go sweet heart." Stacy's mom hands her the tissue box.
"Hey! I was using those!" The boy shouts.
"Okay. I see what has happened here." Stacy's mom stands. "Mister Lubo. You will have detention tomorrow and all for next week."
"This is stupid!" He crosses his arms.
"As for you." She turns to Morgan. "You will have to help the theater group with their new project all this week." She starts to write on some paper.
"How is that fair?!" The boy growls.
She sighs. "Fine. Both of you can do it!" She hands them both a slip. "Now..." She goes to her door. "Get out!"
Morgan gets up smiling.
The boy growls. Whispering curse words.
As Morgan walked out she saw Victoria and Sofia standing. Looking worried. "I'm fine." She laughed as she walked up to them.
Victoria doesn't say anything.
"Morgan, you didn't have to do that.." Sofia looks at her.
Morgan shrugs. "Hey, its alright."
"Why?" Victoria growls.
"Huh?" Morgan looks down at her.
"I could have handled that on my own." She stands. "I don't need you to protect me!" Victoria shoves Morgan as she passes her.
Morgan sighs.
Bri walks up with some candy. "I got all I could..." She notices what happened.
*In class*
Jason and Gabe both laugh as the teacher sleeps. A movie plays on a TV in the front.
"SHH!" A girl in front of Gabe turns, shushing them.
"Sorry!" Gabe whispers.
She rolls her eyes before turning around.
Jason looks at the TV. "When was this movie even made? 1930s?" He laughs.
"Actually, it was made in the 1980s..." Both Gabe and the girl in front of him say at the same time. They look at one another.
"Ugh!" She turns around. Blushing a little.
"Creepy.." Jason looks at them.
*On the road*
"I CAME IN LIKE A WREAKING BALL!" Both Serena and Stacy scream, off key, along with the song coming off the radio.
"OH! We're here!" Stacy yells in excitement.
Serena parks in the parking lot. "Damn.." She looks up at the school. "She went here?"
Stacy smiles. "I'm going to enjoy this."
The school read, Westview School for Boys.
