Chapter 7: Episode 7
"So are we not going to talk about it?" Morgan walks with Victoria down the street.
Victoria had a present in her hand. "Nope." She held her head high.
"Why not? I told you about my weird night. Why can't you!?" Morgan pleads.
"Just because." She stops. "Lets talk about this later. Please?"
Morgan nods. "Fine." She looks up at the mansion. "Why again do you need to get her a present?"
"Because.." Victoria rings the gate bell. "I need to make sure my father doesn't think I don't approve of his new family."
"Hello? Oh hello miss Victoria." A man on the speaker says.
"Hey Seth. Can I come in?" She asks.
"Sure thing miss." He presses the button for the gate to open. "Have fun!"
"Will try!" Victoria walks inside.
Morgan follows. "So this place is huge.."
"Yeah. I mean I remember it somewhat when I lived here but I never cared for it." Victoria sighs.
"Everything okay?" Morgan looks at her.
"Peachy" Victoria inhales.
They reach the backyard. Pink balloons were everywhere. People in white or pink talked or laughed in groups.
"Some party." Morgan looks at the outfits.
"So you came." Stacy approaches them. "You can put my present with the others."
Victoria nods. She walks off to the present table.
Morgan and Stacy stare at one another.
"I don't think we met." Stacy smiles.
"Well we have actually. You probably don't remember because-"
"I don't care." Stacy rolls her eyes.
Morgan growls.
"I know you." Stacy smiles. "You think I don't?"
Morgan bites her lip.
"I have people investigating you and your father. And when I find out the real you I promise that you'll come join me." Stacy crosses her arms.
"How do you know I did something?" Morgan glares at her.
She gets close to Morgan. "You think I'm dumb huh? You think I can't see you? The real you? Victoria can't see it but I can." She steps back. "I know you Morgan. And when I find out something on you I promise to use it to my advantage."
*At A Arcade*
"So you two kissed?" Jason asks as he pretends to drive on a game.
Gabe rolls his eyes. "No, Jason. I told you. She kissed my cheek. See this is why I didn't want to tell you." He sits beside Jason while also playing a race car game.
Jason loses. "Damn."
Gabe laughs. "Next one is on you." He stands up.
"Yeah yeah." Jason stretches. "Man my back."
"Okay old man." Gabe pats his shoulder.
"Hehe" Two girls giggle as they stare at Jason and Gabe.
"Well looks like we are popular." Jason puts his arms behind his head.
"Meh." Gabe shakes his head. "I think they like you."
"Um hi!"
Both boys turn around to see two girls standing there. The one in the front smiles at them while the other stands back nervous.
"Yes?" Jason asks.
"My friend really likes you-"
"Later." Gabe walks off.
Jason smiles. "Hello ladies."
"Actually, she likes him." The girl points to Gabe.
Gabe stops. "Oh um thanks but sorry. I'm seeing someone." He smiles at them before walking to the bathroom.
*Back at the party*
Morgan groans as she sits back in a chair, near the exit gate. Meanwhile Victoria talks to some people. She eyeballs Stacy:
Stacy laughs with her friends. But her smile suddenly turns into a frown.
Morgan follows her gaze to a short chubby man and very tall skinny woman.
"Mother. Mr. Merry." Stacy smiles at them.
Mr. Merry nods. "Well this is all for you princess." He spots Victoria a little away, talking.
"We had to invite her. After all she is your other daughter" Stacy's mom growls. "God I hate looking at her. She reminds me of that bitch." She looks at Stacy. "Stand up straight. Or your large bump on the back of your neck will show."
Stacy stands straight. "Yes mam."
"Hi dad" Victoria walks over to them with Morgan.
"Hello princess" Mr. Merry smiles at her. "Doesn't she look beautiful?" He asks Stacy's mom.
"Yes sure. Stacy come help me with the cake." She orders as she walks back inside.
Mr. Merry shakes Morgan's hand. "Nice to meet you. You must be Morgan."
"Yes, sir." Morgan smiles. "Your daughter here never shuts up about you."
Victoria elbows her.
"It's alright. I know I'm not the best. But I am happy to have you here." He sees someone calling to him. "Love to chat but I really need to speak with the other guests." He walks off.
"So that's my dad." Victoria crosses her arms.
"No! Way! Like your dad is totally rad man!" Morgan speaks with a girly accent as she twirls her hair.
Victoria laughs. "Shut it"
"I don't like her!" Stacy's mom growls as she stares at Morgan and Victoria through the window. "I mean who does-" she stops when she sees one of the maids dust wrong. "No no. This is how you do it! Ugh hello? Why don't they know English! I mean it is America."
Stacy groans. She walks over to the confused maid. "Estás desempolvando mal. Así es como lo haces." Stacy shows the maid to dust right.
"Whatever" Stacy's mom walks off.
*At a restaurant*
"So why'd you bail on those chicks?" Jason asks as he takes a bite of his sandwich.
Gabe shakes his head. "Like I said. I'm seeing someone" he sips his soda.
Jason stares at him. "It's Victoria isn't it?"
Gabe spits out a little coke.
"Knew it." Jason smiles. "It's okay. You two seem cute together."
Gabe sighs. "I'm not seeing her."
"Sureee " Jason laughs.
*Morgan and Victoria walk down the street. Going home*
"So that was fun" Morgan looks at Victoria. "Hey, everything okay?"
Victoria sighs. "Yeah. Just hate going to those things."
"Why go then?" Morgan stares ahead.
Victoria smiles. "I love the look my evil step mother gets when she sees me. I know she hates me."
"And here I thought she loved you!" Morgan laughs with her.
They both stop when they see Gabe standing next to their mailbox.
"Awe you didn't have to wait for me." Morgan winks at him. "I'll be inside" she walks to the house.
Victoria laughs. "Hey." She looks at Gabe.
"Hey" he smiles back.
*Two Hours Later*
"Are they still out there?" Jason groans as he plays on the Xbox.
Morgan nods. "Yep." She closes the blinds. "Hey!" She kicks his feet off her bed. "Listen, I didn't invite you over to get comfortable." She sits next to him.
"And here I thought you missed me." He makes a kissy face.
She smiles. "Okay. I admit it! I'm in love with you!" She hugs him. "Kiss me big boy!"
Jason pushes away. "That's cold. I know this is fake. But don't worry. You'll love me one day."
She rolls her eyes.
"Want some cookies?" Lindsey knocks on the door with a plate of cookies.
"Yes. Thank you." Morgan takes the plate from her.
Lindsey nods. When she turns she stops. "Also you may want to lay low on the kissy stuff. Your father is listening."
"We will. Thanks" Morgan nods.
Lindsey walks off.
"Just say you love me." Jason looks at her.
Morgan lends in close. "Okay Jason...." She gets really close to his face. "Kiss me.."
He smiles. "Okay.." he leans in, closing his eyes. He expects to feel her lips but instead he feels something get shoved into his mouth. "What the-"
Morgan laughs. "Enjoy that lover boy"
Jason chews on the cookie in his mouth as he glares at her.
