Chapter 4: Episode 4
Morgan and Jason both sit in her room on the ground.
"Okay?" Morgan looks at Jason
He just stares into space.
"Jason? Hello?" She waves her hand in front of his face.
He jumps. "Sorry" he laughs.
She looks over to what he was staring at. Her face turns a little red. "Ugh!" She slaps the back of his head.
He laughs. "What?"
She grabs her bra off the ground and shoves it in her bag. "Perv."
He looks at her. "I wasn't staring at that."
She rolls her eyes. "Sure" She shakes her head. "Anyway, did you even hear what I said?"
He shakes his head. "Sorry"
"Well I guess I won't-"
"NO!" He shakes his head. "YOU HAVE TO HELP ME!" He grabs her hands. "Please.."
She pulls her hands away. "Fine. But no touching." She sighs. "Okay, now like I was saying.."
*Outside*
Victoria sits on the porch. She groans.
"Whats wrong?" Seth stands behind her.
She sighs. "I'm fine.."
He smiles. He sits next to her. "You realize I have a daughter and I know when something is wrong, right?"
She laughs. "Yeah.."
He looks at her. "Vic, you know you can tell me. I know I'm not-"
"I'm fine.." She sighs.
He nods. "Well if you want to talk about it I promise that I will hear you out" He pats her shoulder before getting up and walking inside.
She puts her chin in her hands as she stares at the road.
"You look depressing" Gabe walks up the sidewalk.
She rubs her eyes. "I'm fine." She stands. "Why you here?"
"Jason"
She nods. "Right. I forgot." She looks at the ground.
"Okay.." He puts his arm around her. "What's wrong?"
She pulls away. "Why do people keep asking me that?"
"Because you-"
"I'M FINE!" She shouts at him.
He looks at her worried. "Vic.."
She shakes her head. "I'm going for a walk." She turns to the sidewalk.
He sighs.
*Back Inside(Downstairs)*
Seth walks up to Lindsey. "I tried."
She nods. "She won't talk to me about it." She groans. "I just wish she would tell me.."
He hugs her. "I know. You love her. And she loves you" He looks at her. "She'll come around"
She nods. "I hope.."
"I'm going to go check up on Morgan and that boy." Seth goes to the stairs.
"Good luck!" She yells.
*Upstairs*
"Morgan. I think you need to-" Seth walks in to her room and freezes. His eyes widen.
Morgan and Jason kissing.
"MORGAN!" Seth shouts. His face red.
"Dad! It's not what you-" Morgan goes to say when Seth grabs Jason.
Jason tries to run away.
"Dad stop! I was helping him!" Morgan pulls Jason out of his grip.
Jason hides behind her. "Sir, it's true!"
"You shut it!" Seth yells.
"Yes sir!" Jason covers his mouth.
Morgan groans. "Dad I was helping him. I don't even like him!"
Seth looks at her. "Still."
"I know." She sighs. "I promise not to do that again. Okay?"
He nods. Looking back at Jason he gives him a evil look before leaving.
"My god.." Jason covers his heart. "I think my life flashed before my eyes."
She laughs. "Get out" She hands him his bag.
"That's it?" He looks at her.
She shakes her head. "No. Just for now."
He walks to the doorway. "Morgan.."
She looks at him. "Hmm?"
"You have very soft lips." He winks at her.
She turns red. She throws at pillow at him.
He laughs as he runs away.
She rolls her eyes but she can't help but smile.
*A Hour Passes*
Victoria walks back up to the house.
"Have fun?" Morgan sits on the steps with slushies.
Victoria smiles sitting next to her. "Thanks.." She grabs the cherry.
"You don't need to tell me anything..." Morgan takes a sip.
Victoria looks at her.
"I understand." She looks at her smiling.
Victoria smiles back. "Thanks.."
*Later that night*
Morgan gets up to use the bathroom but after leaving the bathroom she notices Victoria not in her bed. "Vic?" She walks downstairs. "Vic?" She whispers. She walks around until she sees her sitting against the liquor cabinet. "Hey.." She sits next to her.
Victoria sits there. Her eye's swollen. A half empty bottle of wine in her hand. "Whats up!"
Morgan looks at her worried. "Hey.."
Victoria shakes her head. "You know the shitty thing about having parents?"
Morgan looks at her.
"We always try to please them..but.." She starts to hiccup. "..but no matter what.." Tears roll down her cheeks. "..we always get hurt..because no matter what we do...we always somehow disappoint them.." She takes a drink. "Whats some?"
Morgan takes it. "Sure.." She takes a drink. "I'm sorry.."
Victoria laughs. "Why? You have your father. And you don't even have to worry about pleasing your mother because she's dead!"
Morgan looks at the ground.
"Shit! I'm so sorry" Victoria looks at her. "I didn't-"
"It's fine" Morgan smiles.
Victoria sets her head on her shoulder. "You know..I always wanted a sister..like the ones in the movies." She laughs.
Morgan lays her head on hers. "Same.." She hears snoring. "Vic?" She looks at her and sees her asleep. She smiles. "Night sleeping beauty" She takes another drink.
*At School The Next Day*
Victoria puts her books up in her locker.
Morgan approaches her. "Hey.." She has a coffee in her hand. "Here"
"Thanks" She takes it.
"Ladies." Gabe walks up to them. "Dang girl." He looks at Victoria.
Morgan smiles. "See you at lunch" She walks away. As she turns the corner she sees Jason talking to Sofia.
"I promise that I don't care what happens!" Jason begs her.
Sofia sighs. "I don't know.."
He looks at her worried. "I promise.."
She shakes her head. "Let me think about it.." She walks away.
He turns with a sad face.
"Everything okay?" Morgan walks up to him.
He groans. "Women are hard.."
She laughs. "Only sometimes."
He smiles. He notices she has some tea. "Can I-"
"Here" She hands it to him. "Weirdo" She walks off.
He takes a drink. "Whoa! This is good! Did you make this?"
