Chapter 3: First World #2
"So little one, you feel like sharing what you are?" The massive dragon spoke again, seeing that the little worm like creature didn't respond the first time.
"*Gulp* W-well, I-i, i am Ryo and i am the supreme dragon." Ryo managed to keep himself composed better then he expected himself to be able to.
"YAHAHAHAHAHA! YOU ARE THE SUPREME DRAGON ARE YOU?! All i see is just a little worm." The dragon laughed so hard that the whole cave shook enough to collapse on itself.
When the dragon stopped laughing he looked Ryo in the eyes. Ryo felt something bubbling within himself from that look. He didn't understand why anger was bubbling inside him from nowhere.
"HEY YOU BIG IDIOT I AM NO WORM. I AM A DRAGON JUST LIKE YOU!" Ryo didn't mean to yell like he did but when he tried to just speak normally it came out as a roar almost like his body needed a release of some sort.
"oh what happened? why did i just lose control!?" The color on Ryo's face disappeared when he remembered who he just lost his control in front of.
[Host, being born as a supreme dragon has changed your personality a lot. You are a supreme dragon. King of dragons is also a common name used for your race. Any other dragon questioning that authority would be like doubting the position you hold as king. It is no surprise that host lost his anger to the dragons words. Host needs to be in full control of his emotions or you might go on a killing spree.]
"ha ha, sorry little one. I did not mean to insult you. But seriously tell me what you are. I have never felt an energy this might coming of a dragon before." he had no choice but to admit that his whole body wanted to bow down. Nothing had ever made him feel like this before.
Ryo felt that his fear for the dragon was slowly dwindling. The way that the dragon made him feel had changed for him as well. Feelings of fear had changed to what felt like looking at an older brother or a long lost friend.
"So who are you and why are you in that big bubble?" Ryo was now able to converse like the fear he felt had never existed in the first place.
"HA HA! LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF! I AM THE STORM DRAGON VELDORA!" Veldora yelled as loud as he could.
"hey, lower the volume please. It feels like my head will explode." Every word the
dragon spoke felt like it could make his head explode.
"sorry, sorry. It's been a while since i talked to someone. ha ha" Veldora seemed genuinely happy that someone was here to talk with him.
"No problem as long as you remember. Now about that weird bubble thing around your body." Ryo pointed his tiny claw towards the bubble.
"Yes this, I got trapped in here 300 years ago by that human hero. No idea if she's still around but it was one hell of a fight you know, good times." Veldora seemed to be reminiscing about the past.
"someone sealed a being as powerful as you?" Ryo was shocked to the core. The fact that it was a human shocked him even more. He imagined himself as his previous human identity and going up against Veldora. "Scary!" It was all Ryo could say at the thought.
"well yes. She sealed me using [absolute severance] & [infinity prison]. It is a unique skill." Veldora still held what looked like a smile on his face as he talked about his current predicament.
"can't you get out? 300 years should be plenty of time to get out of here." Ryo had no idea what the skills was all about so he didn't understand why Veldora had not left.
"it ain't that easy little one. Put simply, i just can't break this with force alone so i am trapped." Veldora spoke about being trapped but no sorrow could be heard in his voice.
"Maybe i can help you to break it then. You have promise to be my friend though. Also you aren't allowed to eat me if i succeed." Ryo felt this weird sadness inside when he looked at Veldora behind that bubble. Ryo could never imagine anything more sad then being trapped in a space where you can barely stretch your body.
"You look so delicious though. Don't think i can agree to that little one. If you by some miracle manages to free me you will be allowed to call me brother. Veldora had a smirk on his face showing he was teasing the little one.
"Really?!" happiness spread all over Ryo's body.
"I can already imagine having a brother to protect me. AAAH I CAN'T WAIT" Ryo was jumping around screaming.
"Just kidding! This mighty true dragon will never become brothers with small worms." An evil smirk appeared on his face.
Ryo looked to have died a little inside. He stared disappointingly on Veldora. The big dragon spoke quickly to move on from this awkward moment of silent staring between them.
"Whatever! So how do you plan to get me out of this barrier then?" Curiosity had taken shape in his heart revolving around the little dragon.
Ryo moved on quickly and spoke in a exaggerated tone.
"Don't you know that i am the supreme dragon. Don't underestimate my powers!" Ryo was growing on Veldora. He started to enjoy the company a little bit.
"HA HA HA! do as you like little one!" Veldora was in good mood. better then he had been in a very long time.
"Hey system. Can i do something to help break this for him.?" Ryo spoke inside his mind to the one he thought could solve something like this.
[You can not do anything at the moment. If or when you reach the required power level you can break the barrier for him.]
"If that is all it takes then why can't Veldora destroy it?" Ryo was sure Veldora was the strongest or at least one of the strongest in the world.
[Answer! Supreme magic is a type of magic only you have access to. It has the capabilities to break the barrier since it is a superior magic to the one used to create the barrier. ]
"Do i have supreme magic now or what? Can't i use it now and try to break it?"
[System recommend not to use that now. At the current moment that barrier would send a backlash that might end up killing the host.] The voice held no emotion, but Ryo was more then thankful that he had a system now. Without it he might have died by now.
"Thank you system! What would i do without you!?!" Ryo had a tiny smile on his face as his mood became better.
[Host would die!] Ryo mood immediately worsened again hearing that.
"You didn't have to answer that system. You could just have kept quiet and enjoyed the nice moment we achieved there." Ryo had a sour feeling in his entire body now.
[Host! that is illogical. I am here for the express purpose of giving advice and keep you from dying. Host should improve his critical thinking.] Ryo sighed out loud and decided to move on. He didn't realize the super intense look he had on his face. His intense looking face and closed eyes made him look like someone who was stuck between constipation and anger.
"hey, little one! What happened to you? Are you trying to poop or something? you have such a serious look on your face." Veldora had been talking this whole time to Ryo but got no response until now. Veldora smiled even more when he saw the small vein on Ryo's forehead.
"I am concentrating!"
"On pooping?" Veldora was holding in laughter as he wanted to just burst out in laughter. He tried to look as serious as possible.
"I. WILL. LEAVE. YOU. HERE!" Ryo spoke with teeth clenched but his aura escaped his body filling the surroundings.
"he he, sorry, sorry, please continue with whatever your doing." Veldora went back to a carefree expression as he lied back down waiting for Ryo to finish.
"*Sigh* So how strong would i need to be to break the barrier?"
[Host would need at least 8 million in power level to break that barrier.]
"wow! How long would that take me to achieve? That sound like a lot."
[Host should achieve this power level with his 2nd or 3rd evolution. System has no clear understanding of the evolutionary ladder of a supreme dragon.]
"So what do i need to do to evolve then?"
[Normally host could ask Veldora to name host but this can not be done because of the supreme dragon bloodline. Host's bloodline is the strongest in existence so it can not cooperate with other energies or bloodlines.]
"What a drag..on! HA HA! I am losing my mind." Ryo felt a headache coming.
"hey Veldora. It would seem that for the moment i can't free you. But fret not! When i become stronger i will come back and free you." Feeling slightly disappointed in himself he spoke to the big dragon.
Veldora himself though, did not seem to mind that he couldn't free him.
"OKAY BROTHER! I WILL BE WAITING!" Veldora realized his mistake very quickly and tried to take it back. But it was too late as he heard Ryo speak.
"Brother? huh?! When did we become brothers and was it not you who called me a worm not one hour ago?" Ryo had a smirk slowly appearing on his face.
"HUH! who would want to be brothers with a worm." Veldora spoke with scorn in his voice to counter Ryo's smirk.
"i-i see, i guess a brother was too much to hope for. *sob*" Ryo's dragon face showed as sad a face as it could and he turned around to walk away.
"E-EH, AAH! WAIT! I-I guess, if it means that much to you little one then from today we are brothers!" Veldora panicked when he saw Ryo walking away looking so sad.
Ryo turned around and looked Veldora in the eyes. His mood quickly took a 180 turn. "Great! See you later.. Brother!" Ryo spoke without an ounce of sadness in his voice and gave the biggest smile as he walked away.
Veldora was speechless. He quickly understood Ryo had pulled a fast one on him.
"YOU LITTLE WORM COME BACK HERE SO I CAN BEAT YOU BLACK AND BLUE!" Veldora yelled at the top of his lungs but of course faking the anger as he had the biggest smile on his face.

wipcr Longer chapter then expected. Just so you guys know! I have read the entire Slime novel/manga and watched the anime. But this is a fan-fic so things will not happen exactly like they do in the original work.
I have changed a lot in the world to fit my story here. So don't be surprised when things change in the future chapters.
BTW - Let me know if you want Veldora to travel to other worlds with MC.
