Hearing Ren getting competitive towards cooking really made Jaune smile.
"Oh are you challenging my cooking expertise, I'll have you know I could make a lizard taste good," Jaune bragged as he thought of what they were forced to eat in the Dark Lands, Lizards, Snakes, anything thing that could survive in that land that wasn't a Grimm.
"I bet I have a few that can make you impressed," Ren shot back.
Pyrrha laughed, "What a funny thing to be competitive about."
Ruby chuckled as well, "You haven't seen my sister and dad have their annual 'Pun-Off Competition' I weep for comedy every time I hear it."
Pyrrha laughed, seeing how good Ruby and Pyrrha were getting along made Weiss a little jealous, she sat down next to them and said, "So Pyrrha, what did you pick."
"I selected a +5 to defense, and a +25 to Aura. I figured it would be a good idea to stock up on Aura before Jaune increases it permanently." Pyrrha looked back at Jaune with a happy expression.
Weiss looked as well, "I still can't believe such a Semblance exist, it's like its laughing in the face of reality, if my sister saw me now, I wonder how impressed she would be."
"I need to get a job!" Ruby said as she hung her head.
Weiss smiled with a cocky expression, "Want to raise some of your skills?"
"Yep, not all of us can be rich like you Weiss," Ruby replied.
"Once we start Hunting, we can make quite a bit," Pyrrha said nodding her head.
"Don't you have plenty of money yourself?" Ruby said getting closer to Pyrrha's face, "Well, it's true that the sponsorships have allowed me to collect a decent amount, it's nothing compared to the Schnee family's fortune."
Ruby turned back to Weiss, "Weiss, could I borrow..."
Weiss gave her a hard glare, "No!"
"Awe! Come on! I'm good for it, Silver-Eyed Warrior, able to kill any Grimm!" Ruby said pointing to her eyes.
"You can't use them yet though, I'll tell you what, you become my butler for my duration at Beacon, and I will pay you the same salary I pay my head butler," Weiss proposition.
"Pass!" Ruby said as she took a chunk out of her cookie.
"You could sell your share of the Dust you get from this deposit," Weiss said tilting her head.
"That's it!" Ruby jumped up, "I could sell the Dust, stuff this valuable and rare has to be worth a fortune."
Weiss grinned, she felt that Ruby fell into her trap, "Well, Ruby, if you sell it to me, not only will I pay a sky-high price, but I will also include a golden discount card reserved for the most honored partners of the Schnee company, you will receive a 30% discount on any Schnee product you purchase."
Ruby turned to Pyrrha and asked, "Is that a good thing."
"Only if you like using Dust in your ammo, the Schnee family owns the biggest Dust Company in the world, you would be able to by any Dust that you want at a huge discount," Pyrrha advised.
"Okay, but I'm keeping ten percent of it for my self." Ruby shook her hand.
Jaune shook his head as he saw Weiss's triumphant look on her face, he finished up his meal and waited for everyone to finish as well, after putting the dishes back in his inventory, Jaune went to the Crater and with everyone's help, managed to clear out the entire thing.
Pyrrha used her Semblance to locate the Dust, while Yang and Nora cleared a path using brute force.
With everyone working together to gather all the dust in one spot, it was done after 4 hours, it was starting to get dark, and in front of everyone was around 5 Tons of Moon Dust.
Jaune pulled out a few trees and cut them into the shape of a box, after making eight of them, Jaune dividing the share Jaune placed 1250 Pounds into 8 different slots. In the end, Jaune was pleasantly surprised to see that simply by storing each of them in a box would allow him to store it as a single object.
"Man that's cool, can you imagine what we could do with an Inventory Ability?!" Ruby said thinking of all the cookies she could store.
"Yep, I could have so many Pancakes stored up for whenever I wanted them." Nora gave Ruby a fellow foodie thumbs up.
Jaune laughed, "Believe me, I wish I could give you one."
As soon as he said this, a screen option appeared in front of his face, "Send Blessing of Jaune Arc to the available team?"
Jaune froze, everyone noticed his expression when Ruby asked, "You okay? You look like you swallowed a fly."
Jaune laughed and selected the yes button, another screen popped up, "Are you sure? This transfer can only be initiated once."
Jaune said, "I think I can give you guys an inventory, and a menu for yourselves."
Everyone turned to Jaune and said, "How!?"
He showed them the command windows and said, "I don't know what you'll get, but I've decided to go ahead and see what happens." Jaune pressed the yes button and watched as a line made of a white glow formed between all of them, it only lasted a second before a screen popped up in front of everyone's face, giving them a choice, "Accept the Blessing of Jaune Clancy Arc?"
Yang laughed, "Clancy is your middle name!?"
[A/N: Clancy means Red Warrior in Gaelic. Fits with the whole Arc's being named after color scheme.]
"Yeah, you got a problem with Clancy." Jaune crossed his arms and gave Yang a cocky look.
Everyone pressed yes and saw their own personal menu's pop up, it was just like Jaune's except they couldn't control the exp, or the party swapping function. Without Jaune to supply them with the main system, gathering experience would be impossible.
Ruby squealed as she gave Jaune a hug, "Thank you Jaune, I have my own hammerspace!"
Everyone noticed they now had a blessing on their status called, Jaune Clancy Arc's Blessing: Teammate System.
Jaune thought about transferring their share of the Moon Dust to them when they suddenly received a notice, "Accept Item Transfer!"
Everyone nodded selected yes, and watched as 1250 Pounds of Moon Dust entered their first Inventory slot. Only Ruby had 125 Pounds remaining, per her agreement with Weiss.
Weiss also made the same deal to the rest of the party when Yang said, "Nah, I could just Auction mine, I'll use Ruby's Discount whenever I want."
Nora shook her head, "Try and take my Dust, and I'll break your legs."
Ren also disagreed, "Sorry, but I would rather use such valuable Dust for my own purpose, I could sell some of the potions I make from it, after all, it says it can be ingested, but there's no telling how potent this stuff is, it is best to dilute it and use other herbs to complement its effects, test should be done before using it as well."
Everyone gave Ren a good long look, "What, I like stuff like this, my mother ran a medicine shop in our village."
Jaune smiled and said, "I agree with Ren, besides, I'm going to make a bed frame out of this stuff, maybe an accessory to wear, just by being exposed to radiation from the Dust can improve our Auras."
"Oh, that's a good Idea, we can saturate the room with the Moon Dust," Yang said thinking that she could catch up to Jaune in her sleep now.
As everyone explored their new blessing Weiss shook her head, "I wonder if distance plays any part in our ability to transfer items, if it doesn't then we could put shipping companies out of business."
Everyone started to head back, only Blake stared at her title with a nervous expression, she knew that it was blurred out from others, but Jaune had seen her title.
As they walked back, Blake took the time to call him out, "Jaune can I ask you a question?"
Jaune looked back at Blake and smiled, "Sure, what can I do for you?"
Blake smiled back in response, "Did you see, my... Title."
"Wayward Faun..." Blake placed her hands over Jaune's mouth stopping him mid-sentence.
"Jaune please don't tell anybody," Blake asked with her eyes full of worry.
Jaune removed her hands from his face and said, "Don't tell them what, your title."
"That, and I'm a Faunus," Blake whispered.
"And why does that matter? We have other Faunus at the school you know?" Jaune asked scratching his head, he knew the real reason was that she was hiding from the White Fang, she was waiting to become a big enough name as a Huntress, only then could she show her fellow Faunus that there was a better way than the path the White Fang was on.
"Jaune you don't know how Faunus are discriminated against, this is kind of personal as well, please, just don't say anything," Blake pleaded.
Jaune sighed and shook his head, "It's a shame, but I hope you learn to trust your teammates someday to tell them, I'm sure everyone here feels the same way, we don't care that you're a Faunus, your race doesn't define who you are, you're Blake Belladonna, and that's the only thing that matters."
Blake smiled and said, "Thanks Jaune, I'll think about it. S~oo, about not telling them?"
Jaune shook his head and replied, "I won't say anything until you say it first, it's a promise, and an Arc always keeps their word."
After returning to Beacon, everyone waited to use the shower, Jaune decided to go last and get a nighttime work out while he waited.
While he was doing sit-ups, Yang gave him a lustful grin and said, "Trying to impress us?"
Jaune laughed and answered, "My body can't keep up with my Aura, I need to build it up, and in order to do that, I have to keep a strict regiment on my workouts, not to mention that I get 10 times worth of training in one day, so if I keep this up for a single year, I will have gained 10 years worth of training."
Everyone gasped, "Doesn't that mean you will have a hundred years of training in just ten years?" Ren asked.
"Yep, I wonder what a human is like that has the benefits of more than a hundred years of training under their belt is like," Jaune commented as he continued to do handstand push-ups, everyone was impressed by how much he had gotten done.
After an hour or so, he finished his work out, took a shower, and prepared to go to bed.
The team continued to talk about their futures before they slept, Ruby imagined them becoming the greatest Hunters to ever exist, and everyone had to agree on some level, with Jaune's help, they would get stronger than ever before.
The downside to their level grinding was that they pretty much cleared out the Emerald Forest for Exp, and it would take a month before the Grimm levels returned to normal.
Jaune was going to get an earful from Glynda about ruining the carefully maintained Grimm Population inside one of their school's training grounds.
However, gaining two levels was worth it, Jaune could deal with being nagged at for a while by an old friend. The funny part is, he was actually looking forward to it, Glynda had been a good friend, and became the new headmaster of Kuroyuri's Hunting School, Sanctuary.
Jaune sighed, "I might be able to stop the fall of Beacon, but then again Salem's been building an army for thousands of years, if I change the timeline and save Beacon, I might just piss her off."
He then thought back to the flood of Grimm that she had unleashed, and even now, the numbers were high enough to trample every last city on Remnant.
