Chapter 20: Volume 1 part 2
I wake up the next morning realizing that i had now way to hide my horns i text mike what he thinks.
Mike-"Use some type of items to make it look like you have no horns but they will still really be there. Unless you want the horns to shrink back into your head for that ask your demon."
Amell-"Ok thanks also mike where are you?"
Mike-"Making sure that the butchers are still hunting for me and not you. Which by the way is confirmed they wanted me not you that night but still watch out man they might know who you are."
I here some glass shatter and a hand grips my horn and jerks me out of my bedroom window. I snap my fingers and my uniform deploys along with my weapons. My attacker lets go of my hair and slashes from my shoulder to my hip making a deep wound. I use 'Fire's avatar' and jump at the attacker. The attacker gets knocked over burning I use 'lead lightning' using all of my mana. My attacker falls to the ground. I grab a arrow and shove it between the side of his ribs do a lot of internal damage. I pull out a 3 serrated darts and throw all of them I then pull my sawed off out of my inventory. I put the muzzle above his heart and pull the trigger. I Notice he dies but that doesn't matter i feel that im dying the blood loss is going to do me in if i can't fix it. I pull my phone out of my pocket and go into TS. I go into the shop and buy a potion making kit that makes potion specifically from my blood. I pull it out of the rift just to look at myself and notice that the bleeding has stopped and my health is going up already. I see a green light coming from above me. I pass out anyways. I wake up to find that i'm in bed like normal the window is repaired and nothing is out of the ordinary. Except somebody is sitting there watching me sleep. It's my demon.
Demon-"Try and not die until the era of rebirth starts I want to have my bloodline continue."
Amell-"Thanks."
He nods his head and dissipates. I sit up and see that my horns aren't there anymore. I see a note where the demon was sitting once i put on my glasses I read it. 'Hey if you want the horns out or in just say the keyword reaper's shadow. Also the longer you keep them out the more quickly your soul can start learning skills from me.'
Amell-"reaper's shadow."
My horns popped out of my head then I said it again they disappeared. I walked outside to notice it was the middle of the day it's awesome though that it is a saturday. I deploy the dungeon portal and walk through into the dungeon. After running I finally get to the floor which would be the fourth floor I think. I walk out of the darkness after running for awhile. I walk out of the dark hallway. I saw a crimson slime used analyze on it. This was the mini boss I made. I saw that it was level 14. I run at it and use 'Fire's avatar'.

I grabbed out my cheap darts and hit it with 10 of them it completely froze over. I whipped it with the handle of the shotgun and it I saw a huge crack. The slime's iced body started to melt I back up after shooting it. I used analyze on it again to see it health 150. I keep shooting it repeatedly. I see the slime start becoming really bright. I walk to it to see it's also shrinking i held up the sawed off at it. It then made a ripple across the surface of its body. Then it just blew up dealing around 97 damage to thankfully I was about 15 feet away. I flew back sliding across the ground but that didn't take away health somehow. I get up and pull out my horns and give myself a massage.

I think quickly about what i should pick I mean buffed is probably to gives buff. Acupuncture uses needles and darts are needles so maybe I'll go there. Massaging therapy is probably just a much stronger version of what I already have. I pick massaging therapy is yes way better and more efficient than just massaging but also it clears debuffs and curses depending of the level of the skill also it gives a slight amount of healing if I infuse my hands with mana. I then took the slimes body to feed it to the boss when I find it then once the boss gets stronger I'll fight it. I set myself a goal to kill all slimes in this entire floor in 4 hours. This sounds like a long time but slimes hide in little cracks everywhere also this is yes in the planes but there is a cave.

I will aim for 1 hour then I start sprinting everywhere seeking I use my potion making kit and magic blood bag and start using it. 5 minutes later i have 300 potions that all heal for 50 health. After i stuff everything away in my inventory I go on TS and look for any soul upgrades that i can buy but that are also very useful I dont spot a single soul upgrade so i put away my phone and head out. I barely notice how much times passes by while i'm running and hunting for slimes within about 1 hour and a half I get all the slimes but I never saw the boss slime. I run everywhere trying to find it another hour passes by then I decide to buy a detection skill for 3 souls it has a 10 mile radius but what's really nice is the fact that it is now passively in the corner of my view but it's kind of transparent unless I focus on it. I instantly locate the boss but the boss's dot on my radar is covering the whole radar. I then look up to see the sky to shift a little. I shoot lead lightning at it.

I decide to dump all points in my strength so now my health bumped up to 155 hp. So now i can be a little more lenient on my potions by 50 hp.

Right away I look for a cave or something like that. 3 hours later of avoiding slimes I found a empty cave. I decide to check out any good skills in the stores I find some things that will give me a small boost in my fighting ability but I go against my soul burning habit and save my souls and gold. I check my gold and souls to my surprise I have 3 hundred thousand gold and 28 souls. I go on some forums and ask if somebody will sell me a legacy or some martial cultivation like skill book. My forum stay quiet for a few hours until I receive a message from the guy who sold me the demon. He says that literally nobody would sell a legacy to me unless i would cough up a few thousand souls for a really bad legacy. He did recommend that I looked for skills in the auction or try my luck with mystery bags and the slot machine. I thank him and delete the post. I decide to buy 5 1% bags which all cost 3 souls each and buy 10 slot machine tries. To be fair the bags are way more worth the souls because i could buy the slots with gold for way cheaper. Slots machines will go first then i'll open the bags.

6 hours later i wake up to a slime sitting at the mouth of the cave. I pull out the pen sniper and shoot the slime and hit it's magic core dealing 10k damage killing it instantly. I look to see tundra sleeping on the ground. I chuckle and then pack anything that was left out. I pull out the bags and tear all of them open at once.

I look at the dragon soul and instantly absorb it as quickly as possible. It gives me everything already listed then I decide I'm gonna do something super stupid. The dungeon revives my soul and body but it never alters anything so i could maybe get myself killed really easily forever or really mess myself up. I take out the jar of souls and stare at it.

I shrug my shoulders and decide to leave the dungeon but next time i come back i will go back to the cave. I walk out of the portal to be back in my bedroom. I have to get stronger before I can beat the 5th floor. The mini boss and boss slimes would have been too strong for me. I decide that i want to hunt some players. I put on my gear and pack up my weapons all except the sniper pen. I grab the pen and go outside to my forge. I make a crappy scope with no glass in it yet. I go onto the TS store and buy some magic lens that increase magnification with a thought up to times 12. I put the lens in the scope and make sure that the lenses work. I check and see that the lenses work. I put my the pen back in my pocket then I double over in pain clutching my head. I felt like my brain would rip in half from the force in my mind. I end up blacking out. I wake up and look at my health to see i only have 3 points of health left and I have gained a trait

I go to my bathroom and use the mirror and what looks back at me is hardly what I remember seeing a few days ago. I'm now 6 foot 2 inches My horns are in full glory right now and there is a thick white aura around me and my hair keeps shifting around without fail. I stare at the aura in the mirror closely to see a weird pattern that's very small the pattern is very small stripes going upwards. I put on my fighting gear and go into the TS store to find anything of interest but i didn't find anything. I text mike and ask him if the butchers are still chasing him. He responds yes but not many since he did take some of them out he asks what level I am. I tell him and he responds saying then i could help him a lot right now he sends me some quardanites. I start to run over to him since he is a few miles away. I reach the place where he told me to be I feel off though as if i'm being watched. I hear a crash as a butcher falls from a tree and see tundra coiling around his throat. I see a figure walk out of the brush I pull out my bow and notch a arrow before the figure can do anything. I see it is mike and discharge the bow into the forest and hear a large boom. I watch mike and see him start running so i follow him after grabbing tundra. We run for what feels like about 10 minutes then stop.
Amell-"Mike let's cut the shit dude point I go and kill."
Mike took this to heart right away and pointed behind him. A arrow whizzes by his head and hits me in the shoulder for 90 points of damage. I feel the blood drain from my face and down a health potion. I take out some darts and wildly throw them quickly dotting the logs of some trees then pull out my sniper pen and shoot a throw a tree when I hear a twig snap.

Since the soul tutor is down I can't learn anything but i can still consume it since I can eat souls now. From eating the soul I gain nothing except some xp from his soul. This levels me up and I decide to put all points into agility making me twice as fast. I decide to run around making traps all around the entire forest but I attach string to each trap then hook it up to a map so when the trap activates it will push a pin through the map. I decide to take a nap after i make a trap perimeter around the camp mike set up while i set up traps. I also used up the rest of my gold to get a way to make golem traps so I can either charge them with my mana or mana crystals.
The item was very generic so it was considered cheap it was a 1st grade mana battery it could hold upto 500 mana. While the golem factory used 300 mana per use so I could only use mana crystals. Since it was not enough to use my mana pool to charge it in one go. Because I would have to expend my mana then charge my mp again then drain my mp again then repeat for all the golem factories. The overall grade would cost twice as much every grade up. I get bored since nothing happens for 2 hours and I open TS. I decide to check some forums about new types of skills and magic uses. I come across a forum called geomancy. I decide to heavily look into this since I saw that I could get some mana stones through this field. I go pick up some stones from around the camp and use my strength to crush them into powder once they are crushed i find some more outside the camp then crush the up into dust. I take all the powder and put it into a pile and read through the forum again and see that i can use the dust to make different magic stones like a water stone or a fire stone. I take the powder and inject half of my mana. I decide to pour some healing potions on the powder. The keep focusing on the powder. I hear something walking in front of me and shoot a fire pellet and go into full battle mode.
???-"Master down here!"
I look down to see a little girl made of pure emeralds but her eyes had red crosses on them.
Amell-"What are you?"
???-"I am your familiar I don't have a name yet but just so you know I'm a healing familiar."
Amell-"Um ok well your name will be clera the emerald cleric."
Clera-"Yeah! Thanks for my name now i can be recognized. Master please take of me and i'll take care of you."
I pick Clera up and set her on my head and she ended up just sitting on my right shoulder while tundra is on my left. Tundra gets mad that there is a new familiar and tries to bite Clera. I shoo him off me and start hyperventilating to gain my mana very quickly. Then I get back to the pile of powder since there is a little bit left and make a normal mana stone. I use my entire mana pool this time and got another mana stone. I stop there and look for some xxx content in the forums since im so bored. A little bit later I get done cleaning up. I check the map and see 7 of my traps went off so i tell Mike that i got to check something. On my way out of the clearing i turn around grab Clera and Tundra because i can. I check the traps and find out all 7 only see 2 bodies. I take them back to the camp with me. I call mike over to look at the bodies. He checks them over and looks for items and determines that they were both butchers, After finding badges that looked like a cleaver. I left the bodies with Tundra to snack on. I go back on the TS forums to find a good way to level up and the main one i find is to kill others. I go into the forum and find hitmen for hire all over the main page. I make my own forum asking how to become a hitman firm. The guy who sold me Zeinfelder commented and recommended first joining one to see if it suits me. I asked if he had one in mind he told me to join the one he is in since it's very beginner friendly. He sent a invite which I accepted. He sent the HQ coordinates but i told him i have to take care of something before i went. He was friendly about it and asked if i would like some help. I told him only if he wanted to help defeat the butchers. He responded with all caps telling me to leave where i am at. He said that he took a mission a while ago and found out that where i was once i told him was very close to the butchers HQ. I text mike this new information and he says that he'll pack up as soon as possible. I told him to hurry. He said he needed help with something that needs to people so I run over. I see a person holding mike hostage like you would at a bank heist. The person was behind mike with a knife to his throat.
Amell-"Look dog i don't have time for your crap let him go and you won't look like you went through a blender."
???-"Where's the other one!?"
Amell-"What do you mean? It's only me and him."
???-"Don't try to lie to me butcher where is the demon child? I came to pick him up."
Amell-"Reaper's Shadow."
I feel my horns shoot out
???-"Oh sorry rookie I didn't know that you could move them in and out on command. Captain told me to find a kid with demon horns."
Amell-"who is your captain? Is that the guy from the forums?"
I hand him my phone to see the name tag for the little helper of mine.
???-"Yes. We must leave here asap."
I nod my head then the guy unties mike. Mike gets untied. The stranger grabs everything and shoves it into a Space pouch. Then throws it to me and tells me to keep it. I put it into my inventory and realize how effective it is to fill my inventory with space pouches to have near 100 times the inventory size. The man tells me to follow him after that he threw a little orb down and stomped on it. The orb made a the noise of a pane of glass shattering and then a 7 foot tall sliver appeared out of the orb vertically then widened to about 5 feet. I walked with him and mike. We appeared in a white room with people walking in and out of portals. I get thrown against the wall of the room by a large man punching me in the chest my hp fell to 5 and i spit blood everywhere.

I open my eyes and see a women in priests robes standing over me she reminds me of the cleric from Goblin slayer. Blond blue eyes maybe 5 foot 4 flat chested but seeming very kind of a person. She pokes me with her staff. I push her staff a little to show that im alive.
Amell-"Thanks"
???-"No problem my name is Sora what's your name?"
Amell-"My name is Amell i'm a human soul hunter I'm basically a zombie for souls."
Sora-"No your not or else i would have finished myself your more of a vampire mysterious and cunning and i like that in guys i hate dumb people."
She points behind her at a man covered in blood. I look at him then at me and realize he holds a hand out to me.
???-"Sorry thought you were somebody else named chris my name is andrew. Nice to meet you."
I see the guy who was leading me slap andrew on the back of his head and hand andrew his glasses which is odd since they don't fit andrew's 8 foot muscular frame. Andrew takes them and puts them on his face but only half way onto his nose and not the full way up to his eyes like most would. Andrew looks behind him and gets really red in the face.
Andrew-"Chris for the sake of the rookie piss off or I will try my hardest to kill you."
Chris-"No you won't because you like the teleportation room too much"
Andrew-"Fuck your right. Not."
I see Andrew takes me by the arm and throws me through the exit of the white room which was standard metal exit door but had the letters GH painted on it. I see Andrew bites his finger and paints a square with a orb of fire inside of it. As I hit the door I felt my back burn up and blackness came rushing to me.
Chapter 16
I wake up again with Sora healing me. She is shouting at andrew for being to rough with me since he is a ruby rank. I peer through the doorway that had the door blown off. Seeing that the white room turned black with scorch marks with all the portals broken.
Sora-"Thankfully he knows something called restraint"
Amell-"How is that restraint?"
Sora-"Oh well he is the vice guildmaster While the guild master is meditating to breakthrough to musgravite by now. He found a 1 use ancient ruin that had divine power in it it'll raise him to beyond 1 or 2 if he isn't interrupted." Not even responding to Amell
Amell-"Welp, that's cheating." Feeling odd that he was ignored over a simple question.
I stare at the room and just wonder if i could reach that level of power. I try and get up but see that my wrist is still broken and my arms are severely burnt away with thin tendons and a lot of bone showing. I call out my horns since I think I get some regen from them being out. My arms start to regain muscle and skin at a visible rate. I look at sora but realize she isn't healing me. Once my skin returns I look at my arms and most of me in general and see that my skin is copper colored with a lot of tiny scales making up my skin and instead of fingers I have bone looking claws. I get up with some pain and feel my face trying to rub my nose but feeling that it is a lot longer than usual. I pull a pocket mirror out of my inventory that reflects something that is barely human. I see a copper skinned male with eyes of a cross in each eye with swirling stars around the crosses. I push back my hair to reveal two very large horns that are black but with a streak red flame cutting through the pitch black horns and a second stripe of a green flame but in rings going up and down the horns. I look behind me to see a 4 foot long copper tail thats look to be made of pure muscle.

I decide to pick fireball for fire pellets and same goes for fire pellet barrage. Each ball does 200 damage and costa 15 mp each ball fired and fireball barrage costs 100mp and shoots out 7 balls dealing 200 each target.

I choose muscle therapy. It gives a strength stat buff of 50% buff that lasts for 6 hours. While I get a side skill called heavy handed that gives me a plus 2% strength stat that permanent but eats away 75% of my hp to use because it literally destroys my bone to use that forces my body to become stronger to not have the side effects. The penalty goes down by 5% each level up but the skill cant evolve but has infinite leveling that at some point could heal me for using it.
Next up will be midnight trapper i tried to evolve it up the skill just went to level five and increased my wisdom by 25.

I thought until the last 2 seconds and choose to pick Wordly mixing pot. The reason for this would be that if this is a whole new world that maybe is newly created then maybe i can rule over a town or country and accrue lots of xp and resources and maybe even be able to acquire a army of some sort and have the pot as a pocket portal to my army that is waiting to destroy all that I want. Next up would be Agni's palm when i tried to evolve it only made it so the mana price is 1 mana per 5,000 degrees per minute which is a huge buff. Next would be fire avatar but this time ill use dissect right away.

Exorcist: Defeats evil souls at all costs while being the main family of soul protectors and can use soul taoist techniques but with half of the power. But also has the power of holy scriptures and blessed weapons. They are basically mercenary paladins but don't have a moral code except to kill evil. (SSS)
Soul Warden: Channels the power of self, souls, and hell. They do whatever they want whenever they want. They are the keepers of balance that are never afraid to kill of evil but also good. Maybe. Their true methods of life are completely unknown since you would be the first(X)

I look around to see that the world has become gray around me then snap back to motion. I watch as sora screams and falls backward after seeing me first turn into my new form and also the fact that i shot up from laying down to standing up in a literal instant. I try to call back my form for me to look like my human self but it wouldn't work.

And stick out my hand but she slaps it away and andrew throws a rock at me and sends my leg to only be hanging on by my skin and only a little bit of my shin since the rock went straight through me. I activate soul tutor and try to reach out to him using my soul. But his soul is like a impenetrable stone castle thats runs to the sky. But I see there is a small crack the the wall that i could maybe slip through. I witness something i will never forget I see a large ball of fire that is ruby red. I yell to it.
Amell's soul-"Andrew dont kill me! Im the dragon thing please it's Amell the kid you have already have almost killed twice"
I then leave the soul world after leaving the castle and take one last look at my own soul world. I feel a single tear flow down my cheek and stare out into the infinite soul world watching the sky rotate with it's swirls of dancing stars and cosmos that look so close that I could touch them.
I open my eyes to see the rock andrew threw about to hit me about 1 meter away moving faster than me all I can think of is 'oh fuck me'. And see the world turn a hue of gray then go to white slowly until I see a Figure standing over me draped in robes with only a large gray beard showing from under his hood.
???-"Child I am the god of souls and it is sadly your time unless something happens"
I feel my heart drop and feel my self gravitate to him slowly floating up into the palm of his hand. I feel myself letting go starting to feel nothingness. This I guess is the end of me.
End of season 1 of Triple Survival thank you everybody for reading the first 16 chapters this will be the official end of the 1st volume. Please note this is nowhere near the end of the book that shit is gonna go for a few hundred chapters so keep that in mind but be prepared for a POV change for a little bit and this next section of the book will be focused on developing the world itself and not Amell.
