Chapter 8: It's all lies
Three weeks later…
Meghan smiled, making poses as the cameraman took her photos. She felt so happy today, as today is her birthday. She doesn't care if others planned to make her a surprise party. She just wanted to receive a birthday wish from him. Both didn't have the chance to meet this morning as he already went to work when she woke up.
"Surprise!!!" they all shouted, throwing some shining things onto her. She smiled.
"Thanks, guys," she said.
"Happy birthday, girl," Ruby said, kissing her cheek.
"Thanks," she replied, taking the present from Ruby. After that, one by one gave her present, wishing her happy birthday. She smiled all the time.
They sang her birthday song with the cameraman taking her pictures once in a while. She then took some posses with other models with the birthday cake and presents.

Vic was putting on his shoes when she arrived. She smiled at him.
"I'm home," she said, waiting for him to wish her happy birthday. He looked at her smiling.
"Good. I already made you some food. I probably go home late so switch off the lights when you want to sleep, okay? I'm late already for my date." He walked away, leaving her standing there, frozen.
"No… no birthday wish for me?" she chocked out slowly, feeling her tears rolling down. She sniffed, running into her room, crying.
"Since you have a girlfriend, you already forget about me. How could you??" she cried again and again.
"You promised you won't leave me behind when you have your special. All lie… all lie…" She took out her bag, stuffing her stuffs inside. She won't stay there anymore, won't stay even for a minute. He lied to her.
