My death. That was the thing I had to watch happen and remember for an eternity. I was in some black void now with only my memories to keep me company. I just floated their aimlessly. After minutes, hours, days, years, and maybe even decades I eventually heard something. I heard a cry, then once more I could see, but it was different. Instead of the sight being directly mine it was as if I was watching someone else, but when I noticed I was looking around this proved to be even more true.
I was somehow in a baby's body. I could see by the obviously large women in front of me that was at least 20 times my size. Then I felt another connection. It was between our minds. Thinking about the whole thing further I decided that I obviously wasn't reincarnated since this wasn't my body. I also wasn't a ghost or something similar, or I would be able to leave this child. I could only watch helplessly unable to do a thing except move within my black void and watch the kid live.
Years I spent this way day by day, second by second. I had grown used to the boringnes around me even if I didn't like it I could now tolerate it. The child I had watched had grown into a teenager now chasing girls, as well as any hotblooded activity such as basket ball or even once swimming. It was strange to see all of it. I was even forced to occasionally watch weird moments of the kid. Such as this one time he had tripped and decided to call out to everyone nearby for help because he had a "Boo boo."
Even with this all though I had grown to like the kid a bit. Even if he probably wouldn't ever know me I grew happy for the kid when he was happy, and sad for the kid when he was sad. All these acts brought me into a peaceful life, or at least for now. That's I'm afraid when everything changed during the kid's 14th birthday a spark went off in each of our heads. Our connection had deepened. I could feel now that I could actually talk with the kid. He obviously felt the change to. For a second nothing happened.
The kid sat upon his bead; and tried to play it off as nothing, but he couldn't. He could tell something was off, and he started to worry. He started to mumble to himself trying to figure out what could possibly be wrong. He even started to look up information on what was happening on his computer. Smiling I decided I was tired of being silent. I needed to get a bit of steam off my shoulders.
So with the greatest enthusiasm I could possibly have I decided to say something simple to get his attention "Hello there." When the words left my mind I watched as the boy stiffened up "who's there show yourself. The pranks not funny. Wait were you the one to do that shock on me earlier. Very funny," he finished getting more nervous as he continued on. That's when everything froze for me. I felt terrified. My first thing I was able to speak in years to a person was took away just like that. Sadness started to overwhelm me. Then a light took over my surroundings, and the place I was at became a room. Just like the one I used to live in, but modernized to become like the world I watched the kid live in.
Looking around I noticed a Computer on a desk. Walking up to It I found a screen on it with a few different choices. Such as "System's Status" which showed a image of me next to it. After that it said "Current Host's Stats, Shop, Host's Shop." What was this I couldn't help but voice out. Then a voice answered out.
"Congratulations newby you have now become a System. To get more information Just yell out Tutorial."
So with a scream which was my first vocalized word in a literal eternity for myself I yelled out "Tutorial."
