Chapter 1: Love At First Sight
It was a peaceful morning. Birds chirping in the sky and gusts of wind blowing.
"Oh.... I'm gonna be late for school".Shouting out loud rushes a boy out of the house.
That is me. As I ran towards my school, "MARTIN" shouted a friend of mine from the back. I stopped for a while. "Why are you late Mark...." I said in a hurry.
We both rushed to the school. The door slammed open.
"Why are you two late ???" asked the teacher with an astonishing look.
I sat on my seat and with a great sigh took out my book.
"Your record of not being late has finally broken. Now you are like us!!!! " commented a guy laughing.
I forced a smile on my face and turned towards the teacher.
"Everyone gather up.... " screamed the teacher and the whole school gathered in the auditorium.
The Principal rushed towards the podium and addressing everyone he announced "Good Morning fellow students. Today, I have a news to share with you all."
Everybody present in the auditorium started discussing about the news.
Suddenly, silence spread out in the entire hall.The sound of footsteps echoed the auditorium and as we were watching, a lady entered the hall.
I didn't take interest at first but as my friend poked me saying "She's so cute." , I forced my eyes to see what he saw in her.
I put my eyes on her and couldn't take them off ever again. That was the moment when I thought my life has some meaning to it. I could feel my heart throbbing as if it would just burst out of my mouth.
I didn't focus on the Principal's words as I was so mesmerised by her that I assumed that I have travelled into another world.
I could just hear her name. "J E S S I C A", her name echoed in my mind. As I was getting to consciousness, I lifted my eyes and they met hers.
It felt like I saw glimpse of a whole new world.
The Principal said "Meet Miss Jessica. She will be your new teacher. "Its nice to meet you all..." said Miss Jessica with a contagious smile.
Suddenly, a bolt of lightning struck my heart listening this and I fainted.
This time for real.
