A silhouette
In my life, people come and go like leaves in the wind, since you never know when someone will just disappear without a trace....
As I lazily lean on my hands during a lecture in school, I looked out the window to my side and enjoy the autum breeze. It was fresh and cool. My eyes automatically closed and opened very slowly. It was then that I noticed a silhouette of a person under a tree that was facing my direction. I then squinted my eyes hard but it seems like nothing was ever there. Throughout the lecture, my mind was debating whether or not of what I had just seen was real...
"Heeeey Sara. You there?!" said Michelle as her hand was waving in front of my face.
I quickly broke out of my thought and turned to face Michelle and Damon standing there looking amused.
"Oh hey guys, sorry, I was just thinking about something." They both looked at each other and had that look in their face.
"Oh, so what was it about then?" said Michelle with a tone of teasing.
"Jeez, I said it was nothing. Let's just go home guys." having a tone of annoyance.
Michelle raised both her hands and nudged a smiling Damon to start walking. I quickly grabbed my bag and made a small peek at the tree but still nothing. I then dismissed what I had seen and went to catch up to them.
