8:00 A.M
Lewis woke up to the summer sun in his eyes and his stomach growling. He pushed the covers aside and sat up, slowly getting off the bed. All he could think about was food, but a certain novel lingered in the back of his mind.
There was only him and his younger sister at the house. His father and mother both leave everyday at 7:30 A.M to go to work. So, being the generous older brother that he was, he made breakfast for himself and his sister. Naturally, Lewis also had to wake his younger sister up even though he knew she didn't like waking up early. It was a sibling thing.
After facing countless rounds of assault by his younger sister's foot, he quickly ran up to his room. It was time to read.. the comments.
He logged onto NovelWeb and went to his novel, which had a poorly made cover. He clicked onto his novel and directly scrolled down to the comments. He saw 7 comments. These comments would make him realize the true nature of NovelWeb.

Lewis didn't know whether to laugh or cry seeing these comments. Really? His novel that he cherished and loved was being read by.. these people? More chapters? Don't you know I have a life outside of NovelWeb?
Even though most of these comments were discouraging, he couldn't overlook the positive ones. So, Lewis decided to make another chapter. There was one problem though. What should he write about? He already had a good idea of where he wanted his story to go, but making it into actual text was really hard!
While Lewis was contemplating this, he didn't notice that a book was slowly opening. Once the book was fully opened, it revealed a ghost-like mist that slowly swirled out. It started to move about and observe the new territory it was in. As for a mist having eyes.. who knows?
Finally, after a few minutes, the mist started forming into the body of a man. It was only then that Lewis noticed the strange, white mist.
"What the f**k!" Lewis shouted, quickly getting up from his chair and pushing it in front of him.
At this point, the mist had started to turn into a human and was no longer a mist. It had hair like a human, stood like a human, even talked like a human. "Relax, young man. I am friendly." This seemed to shock Lewis even further, resulting in him fainting.
"Ah, it seems my good looks curse my existence once again." The mist, no, the human was a complete narcissist. Even though Lewis was unconscious, he had twitched when he heard that.
"Sigh, a good-looking Daoist like me shouldn't be teaching the art of literature, but that old geezer won't stop bugging me." After the human arrogantly said that, it looked down at Lewis for a second before looking back up and deciding to wait for him to wake up. As for the human's gender and appearance, it was still unknown.
