Chapter 4: Chapter 4. Telling The Truth and Power
At this moment Xeols was already broke out in a cold sweat. He was truly scared to tell lie or tell the truth to his over caring wife about the matter. But seen his wife current expression and cold aura while pinching his small branch with her small hands. Maybe he cannot hides the truth about the matter for forever.
(Oh my dearest wife, may I ask you something?) Xeols said while scratching on the back of his head with his try to delay telling his wife. He knows if he didn't try to eased her raging aura, his future will turn bleak.
"Don't try delaying to answering me by answered my question with your question! " Lucy become even more rage at her husband replied. She pinches Xeols's small branch on his head with even force. Moreover, there an cold aura which come along from her hand and transfer over Xeols body. It's make his head a little cold with her pinch.
(Don't angry please, all the thing I want ask is very important! Also stop hurting yourself by pinching my hard branch with your beautiful and milky delicate finger. All the thing I want to ask is about your believe to death and reborn of the soul theory.) Xeols told her wife before asked her about the believed of soul that will reborn after the death.
Lucy was dumbfounded by her husband answer, her head seem got splash by coldest water after her imagination messed with her rational thinking ability. Her imagination run wild for few moment while her cold aura around her body starts subsiding slowly.
After few minutes of, finally her wild imagination the ran wild a moment ago end. She eyes become red with tear accumulated at it.
"Hubby, are you get eaten up by the living monster without leaving behind a pieces of your body remind? So that you cannot turn into one of them? Moreover, with your love and will to live for me is so strong got yourself reborn as a tree. I'm so touched 'sob sob' hubby thank you very much for loving and back to me despite that you in appearance of wonderful tree." Lucy crying while hugging Xeols's tree small branch that made up the window of the upstairs of the house. Her crying is so exaggeration with her whole milky delicate face turn red.
Xeols's has a sweat drop expression for his wife absurd imagination. He don't know to laugh or cry for his misunderstanding for him reborn as a tree. But, he decides to talks the truth to his wife, that how their mutual love last till now. If you loving someone and want the relationship to last forever then you must tell the truth. Of course to the exception that he can feel her felling and sense her body that in contact with his tree body. Since she didn't asked about it and the truth never cause her any harm then there no need to bother telling her.
(Hey, stop believing your absurd imagination before I even tell the truth you!) Xeols informed his wife with an green aura start swept around Lucy body making her feeling relaxed and fresh out her mind.
"I feeling good! Hubby can you told the truth then?" Lucy uttered the word when she felt fresh out both her body and mind. She felt that any part of her body cells was enhanced to it maximum and any her worn out mind a moment ago become fresh and at peace.
The skill that Xeols just use is very simple. He just want his wife body to recover and enhancing for her own health good. He also want she has a calm and at peace mind when receives what he will tell in a moment.
(The truth is, I was betrayed by Martin!) Xeols informed his wife with a little rage within his voices. When he recalled how many years they work together and friend for years before that bastard that to betrayed him just for mere money making Xeols shiver in rage.
Lucy is dumbfounded with her husband word. She never thought that her imagination was out from the truth. She feel regrets with her speculation for the truth with her own imagination.
"But, how? Don't you two was friends for years after working together." Lucy feels bewilderment toward the true and sad for her husband who need went through the ordeal.
"Wrrr wrrr"
(It's all about money! He changed because the larges amount of money the our boss will given to him after killing me and kidnap you before handed you to the big fatty bastard to be sex slave.) Xeols said in one breath to telling his wife the truth.
After the moment he said just the truth, he becomes scared that his wife will explodes in rage and vent out at him as usual. He slap his own tree-liked mouth for not choose the right word when the telling her the truth.
"WHAT! What just you said! That disgusting pervert fatty wanted to makes me sex slave? That bastard!!! I will kill him!" Lucy become rage yet again with a cold aura surged out from her body that strong than before by multiply time even can lifting up her golden hair on the air in disorganize.
She grip the small branch that extend at the window holder with strong force and freezing it. Even though Xeols didn't fells so much cold from it, he still uncomfortable with his wife current feeling.
"I asked you! Hubby, did you get yourself killed by that so called bastard Martin?" Sure enough Lucy immediately vent out to her husband and the small branch tree that already frozen to ice.
(Hey! Stop snapping my branch, I feels pained too you know. Damn that hurt me to the bone!) Xeols immediately his pain when his small branch get snapped by her wife.
Lucy finally snap out from her rage. She finally realizes that she is hurting her husband by snapping the the tree's branch since the whole tree is her husband's body.
"I'm sorry! I was forgot that the whole tree is as part of hubby body." Lucy said in tearful while try getting the frozen snapped branch together to mended it up.
Xeols immediately regrow the snapped branch without needed the snapped branch. He just use his imagination to created a skill a moment ago when he healed her wife with green aura. To use it to himself is quite simple than healing his wife. He just need to focus the injured part of his body.
After healed himself up, he directly told the true of his wife about his reborn. In addition, he also talk how the bastard Martin turn himself as living dead after get soaked by the blood-liked rain and he already killed it to satisfy his rage toward the his betrayal toward him.
Lucy heard all the truth serious manner with full of pride vividly shown from her face expression. She caress the new small branch that just healed by her husband with lovingly feeling in her.
"Well, my imagination not at all off target from the truth! Because of me hubby will to live just strong enough to reborn again. Although as tree it's still reborn because of me. Looked how always stay at home while reading light novel and watching anime is useful for oneself. See! I don't soaked by the blood-liked rain as you said, I don't even have a chanced to witness it! So that I become the good wife without turning myself into zombie. Hubby should be thankful toward the way your wife is living. Hump! Next time, don't even said the my entertainments and habits are useless." Lucy said after heard the truth from her husband. She had a smug face when told her husband her goods toward him and toward herself.
Xeols don't know to laugh or cry with his wife word. Maybe he should be happy that his wife stopped getting angry with that matter. He also scared that his wife will burden herself with his problem. It's good enough as long his wife stopped being angry and fell proud at herself.
That night, Xeols finally know that he can produce a fruit of wonder which can be opened and there a food that he imagined it to have in it. Even though he cannot eat the food, he feels happy to his ability to created that kind of fruit just to makes his wife happy while eating the food delicious food. Of course, Whitey also have her own cat food given by him.
He also tell his wife that she already evolve and in replied she told that she already know about it at the moment when she became angry early. That night, after got a shower that Lucy sleeps on the fluffy bed and a sweet smile vividly shown on her face while sleeping.
Xeols too was happy with his wife current feeling. Before he plants his root-like feet to the earth taking a rest.
(Good night, my dearest wife.) Xeols muttered to wished his wife before closing his tree-liked eyes.
