Chapter 216: Possession 7: The Secretary

The elevator reached the topmost floor and he stepped out as she enumerated the homework her secretary had given her in her mind. 

"Jae?"

Jae turned and her eyes widened in recognition at the old man standing her way. 

"Uncle Seunghun," she greeted the old executive who was Kang Woo's cousin, and as always, the doctor was reminded of a grizzly bear with the man's size and beard. "What are you doing here? It's already late," she continued as she gave the man a hug. 

Just like her stepfather, Seunghun was a kind man who treated her like a real niece. 

"Well, you know the troubles we're having in the company these days with Big Brother at the hospital," Seunghun said wearily as if he himself was having enough of the problems. "I stayed up late today, trying to contact Kirishima, but as usual, the CEO was not available. NBC is getting arrogant lately, and it's getting suspicious since they seemed to know our moves."
