Scene 1: Shantanu(King of Hastinapur) traveling with Satyavati(Daughter of the chief of fisherman) in his boat.
Shantanu: That much of peace and that much of satisfaction, I only get with you Satyavati! Treasury, War, Struggle, Conspiracy, Diplomacy Plea for justice I forget everything. For what else, one might be willing for?
Satyavati: Living will, My king! Only in a hard time, we realize that we are alive.
Shantanu: That is to say, You are interested in the struggle, not in peace.
Satyavati: The one, who has all the luxuries in one's life, knows the value of peace.. And who only has peace, wants all the happiness. And happiness comes from struggle. Smiles and says- Am i right, My King?
King chuckles.
Suddenly an object collides with the boat.
Shantanu: What is it?
Satyavati: It's fish. A big one.
Shantanu: What are you doing Satyavati?
Satyavati: Trying to get happiness, my King! (Satyavati throws a rope in water in the avidity of that big fish).
Shantanu: Let it go Satyavati. It's a very strong fish. You won't be able to catch it.
Satyavati smiles: Who, me? I am the daughter of the chief of Fisherman.
Fish strongly pulls the rope towards it, Satyavati wobbles.
Satyavati pulls it harder. Satyavati's hands start bleeding.
Shantanu tries to help Satyavati.
Satyavati: Sorry my King, You have my word if you try to help me.
Shantanu: Leave it Satyavati. I will give the order to fishermen they will do it for you.
Satyavati: I can't wait till then, my King. Fish and Opportunities, when you get, don't loose them.
At last Satyavati clutters in clutches that fish but her hands are fully covered with blood.
[Scene 1 shows that Satyavati can do anything for her happiness and luxury]
What will be the consequences of such kind of appetency?
