Chapter 3: DARKEST DREAMS
𝗔 𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗟𝗜
Blood is dripping. Wicked laughs filled the dark room. Chains move in the ground. Cries for help rang the ears. Shadows corned a cage. A cage where a little girl was locked in. Her eyes lost their brightness, seen things that a kid shouldn't have seen. Her small battered body shaking uncontrollably.
"What are you going to do with her?" A cold voice asked.
"Of course, send her to a slave market." A feminine voice mocked. Then the kid's scream rang in the room. Filling the heart nothing but hate and anger.
I woke up, gasping for air. My body shaking, my senses going haywire. I keep chanting "it's just a dream." I look at my clock to see it's just 6:00 in the morning. I have one hour to prepare before going to school.
I walked to the bathroom and wash myself with freezing water to remove the sweats in my body. I dont use warm water. It brings back old memories and freezing water don't affect my skin anyway.
After that, I brought out my school uniform to wear. A black skirt reaching mid thigh with matching high knee socks and shoes. Gray coat with white polo shirt and red necktie. I quickly wear it. Then look at the mirror and walk to the living room.
"Master, the car is ready." My Butler, Mr. Ling said. I nodded and went out.

At the School's Entrance
Another Day, Another Challenge
"Don't wait for me. I am going back alone later." I coldly said to Mr. Ling.
"Yes Master." He said and I went out of the car. Then walk to the front entrance.
Everyone is busy talking to each other. Saying "hi's and hello's." Boasting about their selves, their boyfriends and girlfriends. Different species communicating with each other.
The Academy is for Supernaturals only but some humans go to this school, hoping the monsters and humans could co-exist with each other some day.
I can't help but pity those stinking humans.
Well, that's only their wishfull thinking. If humans only know that beings like us are not nice as we look, they will never look at us like that, not even a glance or smile.
"A Shen Li!!" Someone shouted my name. I look over to..... Bimming Bao waving at me.
Those stinking pest must have heard him because they turned to look at me silently. I glared at them, eyes flashing demonic reddish orrange. The looked away but I can still feel their glance.
"Lets go!! Today is the day!!"Bimming Bao exclaimed. I rolled my eyes and continue walking.
"Today is the day that we will get our rank scanned!!" Bimming Bao shrieked. I sighed and he giggled. Tsk childish. (._.)
