Chapter 3: 3
"What a coincidence. We are dating now." He flashed his sparkly smile before heading out.
"What... the... heck!!!"
The girls echoed in unison.

Flashback to the week after their first meeting.
"Fancy seeing you at the library, Dr Frank," Flora exclaimed as she looked at the man picking books from the shelf.
"Same here, Flora. You can call me Frank outside the clinic."
She nodded in acknowledgement.
"I won't disturb you then. I'm also here for some light reading."
Right when she turned away, she heard a charming voice call out to her.
"This is our first. The third time I meet you outside, you'll be my girlfriend."
Before she could say anything, he strolled away in a princely way.
She scolded herself, "beauty is going to be the death of me."
After the library meet, Flora didn't take his flirty comment seriously but somehow looked forward to their next meeting.
She didn't have to wait long before they met at the hospital's parking lot.
"This is our second meeting. One more and you're mine." He strolled away elegantly.
Flora was left speechless. How did this count as a second meeting? It was still in the hospital anyway.
"Swindler," she scolded him in her heart, but the smiled on her face betrayed her.

Back to the present day, Frank had walked into the coffee shop when he spotted Flora with her crew. He forgot about his order amd went forward.
Every step towards her made her heartbeat go haywire. This was their third meeting. Was he really serious about what he said? She couldn't help but tremble a bit out of excitement.
After staking his claim on her, he made his usual elegant exit.
"Something seems fishy here," Seraphina said as she looked out the door.
"Yup. Your breath after that fish fillet hahaha," Claudia set off a laugh wave.
"I'll get you back," Seraphina rolled her eyes.
Flora snapped out of it but still found the situation ridiculous.
"Girls, do you think he meant it?" She couldn't deny the expectation and excitement.
The 2 buddies saw this and teased her for a while.
"You'll know soon," Claudia said.
"Yeah. You'll see him at the clinic anyway," Seraphina added.
She acknowledged both of them, and the conversation went on but it was obvious how distracted she was.

After his charming exit, Frank picked up the pace of his steps. He finally stopped next to his car and placed his hands over his chest. He shook his head at himself, "beauty is going to be the death of me."
He laughed maniacally as he got into his car, "Flora, you're mine now!"
