Looks like it's gonna rain today, I should stay inside today. My life is so, very boring. Every day it's the same thing over and over like a loop. wake up, make breakfast, watch tv till 9:00 pm, make dinner, and then go to sleep. This all began after my wife died and the rest of my family moved out. They never visit me either which sucks. I wish that something exciting would happen soon. I just don't know what I would if my life keeps going like this. I might just die from all this boredom. But, just as I was thinking about this, I heard a loud thump outside my house near the back door. I ran towards my room, and I began searching for a bat all over the place. I finally found a bat, and so I ran to my back door. When I finally reached my door I looked through the small window that is at the top of the door. But, I didn't see anyone. I was gonna forget all about it, but then I heard the handle of the front door start to jiggle. I ran toward the front door. once I got there I opened the door, holding the bat as tightly as I could, ready to bash in the head of anyone trying to rob or murder me. When I opened the door I saw a figure dressed all in black. I was about to hit the person standing in front of my door but stopped mid-way when the figure yelled, "wait, wait don't hurt me please,"
"why should I wait, who are you and what are you doing on my property,"
"m-my name is Johnson and I'm a salesman I came here to sell a product to you,"
"I see I'm very sorry I didn't mean to frighten you is there any way I could repay you,"
"well, you could listen to what I'm trying to sell you,"
"Ok." And so I invited the man inside and we sat down on the couch. "so what exactly are you trying to sell,"
"I have come here to sell you this new tea that just came out it is supposed to do wonders for your skin and helps you live longer, but that's not all it also taste extremely delicious,"
"how much,"
"it's only 87.99, and in case you are doubtful you can have a free sample,"
"ok, I'll try that sample." Right after I said that Mr. Johnson started to pour me a cup of tea. Once he finished, he gave it to me. I was about to drink it, but there was an unusually familiar smell coming from this tea. It smelled just like what I smelled back when I was in the war, and the enemy started using poison gas. I gripped my bat real tightly and swung it at Johnson he reacted quite quickly, but still, I was able to strike him in the arm. "why did you hit me are you crazy!"
"Stop with the acting, I already know, that you tried to kill me" right after those words came out of my mouth a creepy smile spread across his face and then he said "well you're pretty smart, but it would have been better if you drank the poison tea so you could have a painless death. With his right hand, he went into his coat and took out a very sharp knife. I knew that at this moment this would be a fight to the death and whoever won would not leave unscathed. Johnson leaped forward first thing he did was slash down I tried to dodge, but I tripped on my rug and got a deep wound on my right shoulder. It felt like when you get a paper cut, and you get lemonade on the cut. I fought through the pain and grabbed the bat with my left hand and swung it at Johnson's head he dodged I swung again but this time downward he tried to dodge again but he got hit right in his right leg, he yelled very loudly and then he collapsed to the ground. I took this chance to hit him over, and over again I thought I had won but I got too cocky. Johnson kicked me right in the middle of my ribs where my heart is. I thought that all it was, was a kick that would barely do any real damage, but I was very wrong. Inside of the shoe was a small but very sharp knife that had pierced my heart. I fell to the ground my eyes were heavy, and I could just feel my life force leaving my body. As I was lying on the floor at the brink of death with the last amount of my strength I moved my head to the direction of Johnson, and then I saw the smile on his face, the smile of a demon. My body completely became ice cold and so I died
