The shadow figure fluttered about in the dim lighting by the edges of the door, slowly closing the only source for Ai to see. Ai's gaze stayed on it, trying his best not to show how nervous he was while swallowing some saliva. His hands grasping onto the chain connected to the binds around his wrists. "W-what are you doing?" he then stated slowly, unable to handle the slowly creaking door closing. After remembering everything, he was really on edge. All he could think about was what he should do. It wasn't the proper time to be reflecting on everything that had happened in this damned world since he 'lost' him memories.
