II. Tell me
Several days have past and it is weekend. Usualy I met my other friends and we usualy play badminton.
But this time I stay at home with my mother and sister, I'm only playing my smartphone all the time and stop when my mother call me.
"Jake, lets go to the doctor for your daily check" my mother call me.
"Okay mom" I said.
So I went to my room to get ready, I wear my polo shirt and a jeans, then I go to the mirror because I want to comb my hair. Well thats me, an usual american boy, with blue eyes and blond hairs, overall im quite thin.
After it is done, I quickly go outside to meet my mother there who waiting for me in the car, to bring me to the doctor.
"Everything ready Jake?" My mother ask.
"Yep, its all done" I reply
Then my mother drove the car, we didn't talking to each other in the trip.
It take 17 minutes for us to arrive at the hospital.
Well to be honest since im still a kid I got a really bad complication of disease. My mother told me that I almoast died because of that, it was a miracle for me to stay alive until now. But I do need to regularly check about my healt.
Then I waited at the waiting room while my mother confirm about the appointment with the doctor, then she come to me at the waiting room with a diet coke in her hand.
"Here, for you" my mother say after drinking a sip of the diet coke.
"Thanks mom" I reply, then I took the can from my mother hand.
After several sips I offer it to my mother again.
"Do you still want this thing?" I asked.
"No, just drink all of it, Im not a big fan of diet coke or other soft drink" my mother reply with a smily face.
"Okay" I reply shortly, and I finished the coke. I felt that I need to talk more frequently so I did talk to her more.
"Mom, what do we will have for dinner later?" I asked.
My mother stare at me with confused face then say "Fried rice maybe? Why?"
"Nothing, I just want to have a chat with you" I said.
My mother smile and say "just tell me if you want to talk, I'm here".
I smile and say "okay mom".
Then we talk to for a long time because the waiting line is so long too. I must admit this is the longest time I ever talk to my mother and about daily life not about school or other thing. And It fell fantastic to have a talk with your mother, you shoul try it too. We laughing all the way and talking mostly about my college because my mom really want to me to go to a good university.
Then suddenly something spark in my mind then I asked "Mom, can you tell me how my father was gone? Is he dead?".
In that moment my mother become upset and didn't talk to me.
