Chapter 1: Scream..
Darkness...eternal darkness as if my consciousness is mixing with it, i cant reach..i want to be one with it but it beyond my hold....Suddenly i am falling deeper the gravity is pulling me deeper with the dark shadows embracing me....something deep in me welcomes it but my mind struggle against it and war is taking place within me.....i know the darkness in my salvation...if i let go ill be free for eternity but i know their is something that i have to do.....its my destiny, my fate or just selfishness to hold now...i can't point out.
Suddenly everything changes their is light and its hot....with its their is screaming somebody is laughing and shouting. I can here a man pleading for mercy. But than i heard the women's voice loud and clear...King, the GreatJewel will never be your....u can kill me but its a treasure for mankind a monster like you don't deserve it....its a legacy of true citizens of this earth...ur just not worthy and then scream follows...
Waking up suddenly sweaty and out of breath, it start of brahama hour(4to4.30am) the time when night starts to loose its effect and sun is about to rise,i hardly slept for few hour. it's the first time in so my years in this damn dream i heard the women talking...i don't know what GreatJewel(maharatna)is, but i am sure their is some connection i have with that women. Her voice even in pain its beautiful..what must have happened to such an enchanting voice to be in so much pain.
I decided it not to worry, it must be my imagination any way, i cant sleep with this kind of dream. Lets get up and do my work..i called by maid...she came in with water in a bowl and other necessity for freshing up. After the chorse im ready for the day..i think i should practice archery...so that old goat (my teacher of archer) wont have any ground for complaining to father....hmm let see. i came near the field it a vast ground of redbrown soil with slight earthy smell the temperature is cool and pleasant and i can see the mountains across from here, aaa the fortress of Rajgruha. i just standing near the entrance and enjoying the serene scenery when a stationed guard of the field came near me....he is the main grumpy guard that came ahead and greet me ..'Princess the sun is not out yet, it will be safe if u practice as the day break....pardon this humble servent but it quit danger at this early hour to practice'.
Ho..did i introduce my self i am the princess Durdhara of Pataliputra of Magadha Mahajapada one the strongest state in Bharat(India).According to my friend(vaishisthi) i am trynat that should be chained in the palace to avoid disaster...see beating some younger nobel sons is not crime if they thing they take advantage of me and belittle me saying that i should follow proper women conduct behind my back, loud mouth old aunties in man skin i tell you.Lets not forget my father, the emperor of this strong nation, know for is ruthless, crazy and strong control of the whole kingdom. Did i mention my father has bunch or lot of women in his harem and palace stacked togather.....a lovely entertainment it is to see mother (empress Gargi) handling them. The whole palace also echoes with the vibration of veena and doll (musical instrumnet) and ghungaru (ornament wore by dancers)and alcohol all he time. let it be but, its my lovely pass time watch women's fighting to attract a male..don't get me wrong i not against effection but it keeps mother off my back so their is no harm done.
