Chapter 18: Insubordination
After days of waiting in camp the scout groups finally returned from their mission of scouting out Harrenhal squad two had nothing major to report except that Harrenhal was under the control of House Bolton which Ryker had expected
squad three claimed to have spoken with the Bolton men and stated that Tywin,Tyrion ,Tommen ,and Marcella Lannister are trapped in castle Darry while being mostly surrounded by a small unit of northern forces and squad one never returned
Ryker was elated by this news because if the Boltons decided to form a blockade around the Lannisters then they must've called off the secret alliance and the red wedding might not occur
and squad one not returning isn't that troubling because the Lannisters are in Darry so the squad will be fine unless they had a encounter with Nymeria and her pack
Tom motioned for the scouts to exit the commander's tent which they did with haste
Tom-"Lord Swann has been causing some noise in the camp milord"
Ryker-"what's he been saying"
Tom-"he's been saying that king Stannis shouldn't have named you as commander because of your age"
Upon Tom's statement Edric made a face of concern which turned Ryker's calmness into a readiness to immediately extinguish lord Swann's insubordination
causing him to call Edric to fetch his armor
After scrabbling to collect the pieces of armor Edric placed them on Ryker then handed over his helm which he held underneath his armpit as he grabbed a second sword out of the corner of they tent
Ryker-"Lord Swann has claimed dominion over my bannermen the Tudburys for too long now I finally have justification to deal with him"
Ryker-(I just wanna go home)
Ryker stomped out of his tent followed by Edric then Tom,past the Dondarrion tents ,past the Selmy tents,past the Wensington tents,and the Tudbury tents over to the lonely tents of House Swann who lost most their banner men by siding with Renly when he was alive
By the time Ryker reached the tent a legion had formed behind him with footsteps soo loud it caused Lord Gulian Swann and his son Donnel to peek out and investigate
Before they can respond with there famously cautious social skills Ryker immediately challenged Lord Gulian to a judiciary duel for insubordination
