Prologue
Fluid classical music swept through the air, gently whispering to each one's ears. Modest chuckles and light conversations were being taken place as handsome men in suits and beautiful women in gowns chatted their way into the night.
It was an evening party for only the most wealthy and famous individuals on Earth.
Curious eyes wandered towards the gorgeous woman dressed in a limited edition sequin dress. Her scarlet red lips curved up into a small smile as the suave man beside her continued to ask her numerous questions.
"So, how did you do it? How did you go from being a random idol in a no-name company to the number one artist in the world?" He asked. "I hear China notably values looks in their artists and not to offend you, Miss... but I wouldn't call you an exceptional beauty."
"Jeffrey! Don't go provoking people here. Her net worth is worth millions more than you," Another man nagged, lightly smacking his head. "While you were busy producing amateurish music in your basement, I scouted her and made one of the most record-breaking movies of all time."
"It's okay," The gorgeous woman's sweet voice spoke. "I don't mind answering."
Jeffrey and the director instantly stopped running their mouths and eagerly moved one step closer, keen to hear the disguised mystery of success that is called "Yi Fei".
How did she capture the hearts of those all over the world? Was there something behind the scenes that even standard industry insiders like them weren't let in on...?
The two men gulped in anticipation while the woman's intelligent eyes glimmered as she took her time to speak. A playful smile appeared to be dancing on her dainty lips.
"Just a lot of luck," She faintly whispered.
