Chapter 28: Demanding Guest Everywhere...
After the initial shock worn off, Sirus realized what she was requesting. Although he can honestly say, she was cute. But, why the suddenness of asking for children? Is she confused or something? We just met each other. Let me make this clear.
"Young lady, you should cherish yourself more. Please, don't say things like that without thinking. Job as my witness, I don't take sex lightly. It took him a while to convince me to help his clan that way. Not because I am unwilling to help, but I felt it wrong sleeping with his wife even at his request.
In reality, it may be the best choice to help his clan population. Unfortunately, my heart was guilting me for betraying a person I call a friend. So now, you see the fruit of me helping the Imp clan and think, 'Why can't the dungeon restore our clan too?' Are you perhaps thinking, I am an inanimate object sent by the goddess to give you babies??!! I'm a person, too!!"(Sirus)
Sirus was pissed. Unconsciously, his magic power exploded. The magical energies flashed from the dungeon core radiated outward. Those individuals in the room felt like gravity increased substantially. Under the heavyweight, they all bowed down. The four pitiful people were scared witless.
Job could have seen this coming. He felt that Sirus was more than the name of the dungeon. Job thought Sirus has such a pure heart like a newborn child. Like a child, he hasn't fully mastered his gifts and abilities. Right now, his magic was running wild.
"Darling, please calm down. Please come back to the core with me. Everyone should relax while I talk to Darling briefly to resolve this issue."(Alice the mediator)
The magic power retracts into the core, along with Sirus' spirit. The four left in the room could finally breathe. Sirus was still angry when Alice places his head on her lap.
"Darling, just calm yourself on my lap. I know it's upsetting for others to think of you as a means to an end. You are more than your abilities. Yet, you have them for a reason. Momma wanted you to help the dying Demi-humans, right? If you refuse to freely use your abilities, how about selectively? If you take the girls as your wives, would it clear your conscience? You can bless the race of each Demi-human girl you marry with lots of babies. It will fulfill your purpose while enabling the development of mutual relationships. Think about it. Also, I know you are my Destined One. Whatever you choose, I will support you!!"(Alice)
Sirus laid his head on her ghostly lap. He closed his eyes, calming his mind. While Sirus relaxed, Alice rubbed his head and brushed his hair to comfort him. Sirus didn't know how, but Alice had a way to put him at ease. After close to a dozen minutes, Alice began to speak to the trembling men and ladies.
"Everyone!! I'm sorry for the delay. I had to settle down my darling first. Now, the first thing everyone needs to understand is both Sirus and I are alive. We are living soul tasked by my momma to help out the suffering Demi-humans. So, darling took offense to being treated like an object instead of a person. Even if you are respectful, nothing is more disrespectful then to have your existence denied. I believe all of you can attest to this truth.
Second, darling is troubled to join into intimate relationships with anyone and everyone. Like I said before, he has feelings too. He doesn't think his heart can take having sex with people he doesn't have feelings for. I proposed an idea that could help my darling overcome this problem, but I'm waiting for his approval."(Alice)
The people in the room were thankful for the release of tension. They pondered on Alice's words regarding the dungeon heart. Job knew Sirus was special. Still, this was the first he heard of a living soul inside a dungeon heart. It made more sense when he thinks of it that way. His dealings with Sirus were no different from other living beings. His body just happened to be the core. Alice continues her talk.
"Fox girl, I applaud your determination to shoulder your clan problems. It's probably like darling said you plan to use him to make babies to restore your clan. Yet, I believe you are getting your obligation messed up. I think before you focus on your clan, you should focus on your man. That, my dear, is where you are confused. You don't want a man but a surrogate father.
You see, my darling is amazing. So incredible, even my mommas has her eyes on him. He also got momma to promise to marry him if he fulfills certain conditions of their agreement. So, if you want babies from my husband, the way you are going is not right, ok?"(Alice)
Ericka was ashamed!! She requesting babies form a stranger!! Without considering the other party, Ericka just throws her demands at him. All she could do was hang her head down, while tears fell from her eyes.
She had a very mistaken view of the dungeon heart. She never met Sirus before today. The conversation she had with Cam and Ani gave the impression of an intelligent object. In her mind, the dungeon heart was like a well. She could come up and get herself a cold drink of well water. The reality was harsher then she expected.
"Umm... m-my... L-lady... can I ask a question...?"(Rey)
The little Fox girl standing next to her sister speaks up. Her older sister had crumbled to the floor while crying. The Fox girl Rey forced herself to talk even while holding her sister's clothes for emotional support.
"Ooohhh!!! MY!!! You are adorable!!!! Little girl, what's your name??!!"(Alice)
Everyone looks to the elementary school age Fox girl with mix emotions. The girl was trembling from fear and anxiety. She was a timid girl and not used to speaking to others. Still, she mustered her courage to say something.
"Rey..."(Rey)
"Sweet Rey, what would you like to ask?"(Alice cute lover)
Rey fidgeted while holding her sister's clothes. The Fox girls look very much alike. Both have slender bodies, cute round faces, and long sandy blond hair. Rey, unlike her sister, had an underdeveloped body and golden eyes. Considering her age, that is understandable. Her sister's physique has developed nicely. With a thin waist, moderate bust and bottom, and silver eyes. Ericka's frame looks more like the athletic type. They both sported the Fox clan fluffy ears and tail. They, in total, look more cute than sexy.
"I-If... I-I... grow big like... big sis... could I... marry... too..."(Rey)
"You want to get married? Well, of course, you can get married when you grow up!! The important question is to who? One way or another, you have to choose the one you want to be with. For me, I chose my darling. He is one of a kind. None will be his equal. Momma proclaimed him, her King!!! In my heart, this stands true. So, the question or problem is not when, but who?"(Alice)
She pondered briefly before a resolve flashed in her little golden eyes. Letting go of her sister's clothes, she took a few steps forward before bowing on her knees to the dungeon heart. As she bowed her head, she placed both of her small hands on the floor in front of her. She said with more courage than before.
"My name is Rey Imke Theodora, seconded daughter to the clan head Rudyard. I have come to understand only the strong survive, and the weak suffer. I understand I'm still young, but I wish my lord will consider me for his wife. We may not have feelings for each other now, but in a few years they could develop. No, I will work hard to ensure they do. I have nothing to bring to show my sincerity, but my whole heart and my True Name. I pray your lordships will look favorably on me."(Rey)
"R-Ray, w-what do you think you're doing??!!"(Ericka)
"Big sis, from the information I have discovered, Lord Sirus is a good person. He cares for the people of this dungeon and is reliable. He freely gave generously to the people to the point of feeling embarrassed. Also, he is powerful. If father was as powerful as the dungeon lord, would our people and families had to die!!! Do you want to be chased by wicked people for the sport!! I don't want that to happen again!!
The older sister Ericka grabs her sibling by the shoulder and looks her in the face. Even though tears were trickling down Rey's cheeks and her body was trembling, she was steadfast on her decision. A laughter broke up the sibling's argument. The laugh sounded like a bell being played, crisp and joyful.
"Hahaha... cute Rey, you are brilliant. To be able to analyze the truth from the available information at your age. Or is it an ability, I wonder? Well, for your determination to confess your feelings to darling, you have my approval to wed my husband.
He is presently grumbling about no one's taking his feelings... bla bla bla... no one cares!!
Darling, you will face many troubles because of women!! You need to understand, this is what it means to be a man. You are man who stands on his beliefs, right? Then, if a maiden confessed her feelings to you, then you need to be a man and answer her feelings!!"(Alice)
