Chapter 12: Who are you
{Rikuo Nura POV}
A boy with brown hair brown eyes is looking out the window sighing. thinking about The shocking truth...
'My name is Rikuo Nura. I am the grandson of Nurarihyon. Everything was great before I learned the truth. Grandfather would always tell me that yokai are supposed to play pranks and I did. The other day Tsurara Oikawa and she was hung upside down than when she screamed for help Aotabō came and fell into a hole I dug.
This was an everyday occurrence. It might be due to me being surrounded by a wide variety of yōkai - many of whom watched after me. I frequently pulled pranks on them and viewed my grandfather and the yōkai world with a sense of awe. I even wanted to be the third head.
However, thanks to Kiyotsugu's school presentation, I learned that yōkai were actually renowned for doing evil deeds. When I tried to contest it with knowledge of the yōkai in my household, my classmates teased me. I then decided it was best not to mention yōkai around other humans.
Apart of me didn't believe the rumors. However, at a routine Nura Clan council meeting, I heard all of them brag about eating children and other horrible bad stuff. I was shocked that what the rumors were said were true. Then grandpa said announced his intention to pass leadership of the clan to me but
"I'm not like you, grandpa, I didn't realize you were all so bad yokai I'm not like you at all." After saying that I ran off to my room."

after school, I was walking to the bus home when Kiyotsugu says "what's wrong Yokai boy. Aren't you getting on"
his best friend Jirō Shima then telling him "Hey if he gets on we might get attacked by Yokai"
They start laughing as they went to the bus when Kana Ienaga pushed my back
"geez what the heck are you moping about for. " she puts her hands on her hips saying "if you miss that bus it will be 30 minutes before the next bus comes, just ignore them and come on. "
I shake her hand she had me off and say "I'm fine besides, I don't have the right to go on the bus with them
She looks at me mad" why not?"
"because I'm ashamed"
Kana was confused "ashamed of what?"
With my back to her, I say "I thought yokai were a lot cooler than they really are." I heard a shocked voice behind me as I continued " but the truth is they are always going around doing horrible things. They're nothing like heroes...and me I was trained by my grandpa and he's in charge of them all...I'm so ashamed."
Kana just says "I don't really get it but just become something you can be proud of."
I turned around shocked and she continues "all you have to do is become a good person. One who can show them the way. Isn't that right? "
Her words hit me strongly. "a good person" I mumbled
"She just smiles and says "yup lets go..well it is easier if you had someones help through.. now let's go home"
"No, I think I'll run home. I have a lot to think about"
She just turns from me and heads to the bus and says "Rikuo I don't think you should say your grandpa a yokai anymore ..it scares me. Yokai are a ghost that scary...I'd believe it if you showed me but I don't want to see any scary stuff" with that she runs to the bus and I just stand there watching the bus go by.
{Ryouta POV}
After school, Ai went to Ryouta with a gift. "So what do you think. I made it just for you" Ai just gave Ryouta a small strawberry cake for his birthday. This is something Ryouta doesn't know but he has a sweet tooth. Whenever he eats sweets he has a smile on his face.
Ryouta was smiling as he said "It tastes fine" Ryouta thinks to himself 'I don't want to give her a too high of praise otherwise she will get to her head'
Anyone who saw his face would know he loved it. Ai tried to go for the attack "I guess I will have to make you some more. How about I make you some food for lunch on Monday"
"Well, that sounds" before Ryouta could respond his phone rung. "Sorry one moment"
On the phone was my older sister Ako "Ryouta I just want to remind you about your match to become a professional shogi player. Make sure you don't forget your suit and tie."
He spoke for a moment and each of the family members called him up after he finished each call. Without knowing it was 15 minutes and Ai went home. Ryouta went home and got changed...his mothers kept taking pictures of him saying that it is his last day as a boy. Then he is a working adult
"You all do know I am a mangaka and a writer and have written several popular books and have a movie coming out soon. Dragon Ball and Sailor moon are popular animes too. "
All his mothers just looked at each other and laughed and said "well this is different. The other stuff doesn't feel earned but this feels like you did it yourself" Ryouta didn't even know who said it but he did feel that they were right..he just sighed however that's when Inari said "Moms what are you saying Ryouta looks like he is in high school other than his face. "
They all looked at him and realized he was tall. He was 152 cm.
They all looked at Ryouta and agreed "Now that you mention it Ryouta is tall for his..."
This went on for a while until it was time for him to leave or he would be late. Ryouta was leaving and as he was leaving he was greeted by lots of people who went to him saying "Good luck young master" They were grandfather mafia unit the Usagi. They are the strongest defense force. I'm not sure how but they have access to some of grandfathers powers. They all wear a black robe with gold markings trimmed with red and black trousers. The outfit appears to be tied by a white strap with a white puff on the back, resembling a rabbit's tail. They also wear a gold rabbit mask, with red marks above the eyes, but a more prominent design on the left eye. The mask is tied to their face by a red thread.
The reason for their mask is so no one knows their identities. When Ryouta was getting more famous. His grandfather sent them to protect Nobuyuki wives and daughters...not Ryouta.
Ryouta left for the Shogi hall. It was already getting dark so he had to hurry. At 7 pm was the start of it. He was running then he saw Botan and frown "what now Botan?"
She looks at him and glares "Ryouta this isn't the time for that didn't you see the news. " She showed him the news from her device which was an elementary school bus that has been trapped in a caved-in underpass." this bus is the bus your brother usually rides...I think it might be the work of Gagoze, I told you that you should remove him."
Ryouta just ignored her and walked passed her. Botan asked "where are you going? You should rescue him and not only him the other kids too. What if they were your little sisters. Your the only one who can do something about this. "
Ryouta just stopped and said "I'm going to become a shogi player today. Why would I care about a brother I never met." Ryouta said and took a left down a corner closing his right red eye
Botan smiled "heh you say that but that's not the direction for the shogi match that's where your brother bus is..." She then thought about Ryouta and thought.."did his hair get longer"Then she looked at his fleeting direction..." his hair...its changing colors"
Ryouta was thinking to himself. 'what is wrong with me. I feel my blood boiling. Is it bloodlust I'm feeling...'
He arrives at the cave in sight. Ryouta for some reason could sense where the yokai energy was. "there seems to be a group of them. If I make to much noise the children will get hurt. Oh, I know! Kensai Ma infiltration training." Part of his training was to sneaking into women's baths and...actually its not important.
***Third person POV***
The kids inside the bus were frightened. The bus driver seemed to be out cold.
Gagoze and his army approached the bus but they don't see the young master "where is the young master? Well, he must be inside. "Were going to kill every last living creature in here along with the master. hahaha "
They slowly walk to the bus. They frighten children seem to excite those Yokai "that's it children tremble in fear as we devolve your flesh, your skin your bones. We'll feast upon it on and "than a rock hit one of the Yokai and he dies
Gagoze and the others were shocked. They suddenly felt a massive pressure. "what just happened? This feeling it feels familiar. It feels like " while he was in deep thought the person who gave them that huge pressure jumps from the school bus. He was wearing a suit and tie. He had long black hair with his right eye closed. He also has a ponytail and his eye that open looks amber
Gagoze and the others were shocked. They almost felt the urge to bow down
One of his men asks "is that the 2nd head"
Gagoze hit his man "no that would be impossible. He dead" he said that but in his mind 'is the second head still alive'
That person was of course Ryouta. He looks at the people on the bus and did a slight smile. "You are safe right now. It is my job to help all beautiful woman in the world. " Ryouta said looking at kana, Natsumi, and Saori. All three start blushing
Gagoze men look at him and ask "are you sure it's not him" The second head was known to flirt with many women. It was when he met his last wife did he stop his night activities with other women.
Gagoze just stopped and was unable to think what to do when another crash comes out destroying the rocks.
A figure that looks like Ryouta does now just with his hair is black and white, he is wearing a kimono with traditional Japanese sandals and a red cloak. This person was Rikuo Nura in his Yokai form
He comes with 100 of his yokai and says "So killing kids make you a big shot. "
Gagoze looks at him and asks "who are you"
Rikuo says "If killing me to take over was your plan. Then I have to tell you. you're one petty Yokai."
Gagoze looks at him and says "no it can't be. You didn't have any yokai traits"
Rikuo just smiled at him when Ryouta just cough"sorry to interrupt" Ryouta understood that his brother didn't take the bus and came to rescue his friends. However, he couldn't just leave and he couldn't do nothing so he decided "They are my enemies. They harmed too many people and violated the natural order of things"
Rikuo and the others for the first time notice him...which pissed Ryouta off. They were shocked. They were all thinking the same thing. Is that the 2nd head.
Ryouta didn't really care what they were thinking and said "I will handle these guys"

Rikuo staps out of it "wa wait you can't handle them all on your own there's to many of them"
However, Ryouta jumps up in the air and feels his sword with spirit energy and cuts.
Then Ryouta puts the sword back in its sheath and Gagoze and his men were gone.
Ryouta goes to the shocked Rikuo and hands him back his sword " This sword is incredible. I wish I had a weapon like it."
The shocked Rikuo was on edge he didn't even see him take his weapon
Kejōrō had to ask. She old the second head a lot. "Who are you"
This is the question they all wanted to ask. Ryouta felt he should mess with them. He looks at the girl then look at Rikuo who had a Yuki Onna in front of him for protection and said "What you don't recognize me"
Rikuo eyes sparkle and asked, " You mean you're my father!"
Ryouta just realized they were thinking he was his birth father who was killed a while back. He almost coughed up blood... Then he thought about the girl and was curious if he was one of his father wives and ...he shook his head. "*cough* no I'm Nura, Ryouta Nura. " He looks at Rikuo and says "Your older brother" Then he disappears
Rikou was shocked and thought 'I have a brother...why hasn't no one told me about it.' then he fainted
Ryouta was in a similar position and was about to faint when Botan came and caught him
Botan looked at the exhausted Ryouta and said "Good job Kazuma "
He looked at her and smiled and said "Botan can you take me to the shogi match I'm going to be late"
She didn't know what do with this boy "are you sure your hair is back to being blond but its longer plus your already late and"
Ryouta just looked at her and said "less talking and more moving GIDDUP"
"I'm not your horse"
Ryouta slapped her butt and said "No but you have a body that is asking to be ridden "
She didn't know what to say to this boy anymore and took him to the shogi hall. She just went away without saying anything. Ryouta just screamed "Thanks for the ride it felt great."
She almost stumbled as she flew away. The people inside herd him and Ryouta just said "Sorry I'm late"
They all looked at Ryouta and said "huh your not late you're just on time. " One of the judges approaches him and says. Then his master looks at him and says "The match starts at 8 pm we just told you an earlier time. " He inspects Ryouta and notices his hair was long "Are you ready for this. This is your day."
Ryouta just looks at him and smiles then procedes for his match really tired.
Spirit slash
The technique itself is easy enough to be manifested, the user must first concentrate your energy on a sword, and then stabilize the energy, then attack with a slash. the slashes inflicted while being covered in the said field become more powerful. Although theoretically offensive, the resistance of the field can possibly be used as a shield, serving to defend against projectiles and physical attacks
AN: Ryouta is more powerful in his yokai form however it is a double edge sword. His body can't handle the Yokai form this is due to his body being more spiritual or holy. Transforming causes backlashes to happen. his mind and body and spirit become damage.
