Chapter 5: New beginning
The first day -----
Sisi reached her class. Someone who accompanied her to the class introduced her to the teacher.Then, the teacher announced her to the class "Everyone let's welcome a new student- Yang Sisi."
Everyone welcomed her warmly and all the nervousness she felt previously vanished just within an hour completely.
Although sisi came from a village ,she have been studying in the neighbouring town from childhood and all the family needs are related to town she wasn't inconvenient to the environment.
And the girl is quite classy, swift and charming in all her actions. So no one in class seem to dislike her.
--In the evening---
Sisi found her father as soon as she stepped outside of the school. She seemed to be in a good mood. She started telling her father all the things that had happened from the morning. This is the first time for the father-daughter duo as spending time like that through the way home.
She even mentioned all her new friends and so on. She even said all the things that she said to her father , to her mother too. Her brother jus quietly listened as sisi spoke.
This was the rare situation for the family and happily chatted. Sisi felt really happy at the end of the day and the thing that she is most happy about is the time she spent with her family. It is not like as she didn't ever have any happy moments with her parents, but they are not often.
The next day they went shopping for the things that she needed for her new school.
After two days , she found it very difficult to learn the topics which are previously covered while she didn't join. Soon she started to discourage herself and she even asked her dad to let her go back to the old school. Her parents tried a lot to console and they are worried about as she was in her tenth grade. Afterall that year is the time that would be her first biggest exam in her life .
The subject that she felt difficult was their national language. Even though her mother tongue is different from the National language, she had already given some exams on that language. It gave her a bit of hope that she could get along with other students.
Soon when the first prelims are conducted , she got around 93% , to which all the teachers were shocked.
some students thought that she might be from a big background because she joined the first class which is meant for toppers without any exam. But once her results are out, everyone got to know what she is capable of.
with that students stopped treating her as a new student and merged her along with them. Soon she started regain the confidence she have lost.
The daily routine would always include chatting with her father about all the things that happens to her all the day.
She was always desperate to wear western style dresses and her father doesn't like them. He likes to see her in their typical wear of their place. Even though Mr. Yang studied at T city , which is considered modern city at their times, his mind and thoughts always will be according to their native villagers.
