Chapter 47: Hunter x Hunter's Strongest
I don't really have much of a clever title for this idea, but I think the one I used is adequate for the moment. I'm going to put a little bit of a disclaimer here and say I'm not an expert on HxH, I don't have the intimate knowledge of every single nuance, I know some of its plot and powers and that's about it. Just know that I have an understanding of Nen and its functions, as well as the different types of users.
So, to start off, I'm actually going to be discussing the MC first, and then move on to possible powers or bloodlines. In the Terraformars chapter, I made the mistake of generalizing the enjoyment of fighting as Battle Mania, I'm stating now that the MC should not be a maniac, he'll just appreciate combat and its many forms. Of course, it's a reincarnation story, sorry that this form of start is just consuming every fan-fiction idea I write. You could scrape by with transmigration, but rebirth is so much easier to use. MC dies and is randomly granted a chance to fulfill his desire to visit another world. He's given a few wishes or maybe a few spins of a lottery wheel, and is sent on his way to the world of Hunter x Hunter.
Well, now on to possible abilities for the protagonist, or bloodlines if you'd rather use those. First off, I'd say either an Uzumaki or Arc bloodline, as both are know for having abnormally high amounts of their respective energies, and this would be a great addition for longevity and stamina. This will drastically alter how the MC approaches combat, allowing more flexible strategies to be used, even if they would normally cause extreme exhaustion. Perhaps, if you so desire, he could gain inheritances from these, such as the Sealing powers of an Uzumaki or a Semblance from one of the Arc family.
Next up is something I'm bringing back from a previous chapter, The Dying Will Flames. Rather than give him a specific one, I'd just give him all of them, able to freely choose and mix at will. I think if you do end up using this one, it'd be a Specialist Nen. While there are those that act more like an Emitter or Transmutation, things like the Cloud Flame and Rain Flame act more like Specialization.
Another possible gift would be a form of martial arts, of which there are a few good picks. There are the obvious ones like Hamon, Houkuto Shin-ken, and Hiten Mitsurugi-ryu but there are a few that I personally would like to get used. Well, one actually, Kyotoryu, the sword style that doesn't need a sword. If you've watched Katanagatari, then you know how strong this style is but suffice it to say that at its strongest it could cut an entire castle in half, continuing on for a short distance after. Just imagine what it could do with more development.
And of course if you want the MC to be way more OP, than your best bet is either a Kryptonian or Saiyan bloodline. Both of these will give you much greater power, but the choice will advance the plot far too quickly for some people. I'd stick with the three previous choices and remove this from the equation.
