Chapter 4: lV
Shrugging away such thought, I suddenly stop walking. Andrew stops a few steps ahead of me, and gives me a confused look.
Quietly I ask, "Why here?"
For sure, if I were to ask this I would instantly confuse that person. But it seemed as if Andrew understood what I meant.
"Well, it's.....you know....calmant." He answered.
I node slightly, agreeing with him. "I suppose that is true."
Andrew gives me a warm smile before looking around. Not knowing what to say or do, I stand there quietly.
"So, what do you want to do?" He asked.
"I'm not so sure. It would be fine to walk." I answered.
"Walking it is! Come on heiress!" Andrew said cheerfully as he gently takes my hand and starts walking.
With little to no hesitation, I take his hand as well and walk shoulder-to-shoulder with him.
--3 hours later--
"So, how was it?" Silver asked.
"It was amazing! I loved it! We hardly did any talking, but I enjoyed his company completely!" I answered excitedly.
"Well that is good to hear. In the meantime, tell you siblings the rest of your date. I am going to help your father with some things outside." She said as she swiftly turns around and walks away.
Suddenly, a relief filled the atmosphere. Ash and Atsushi lets out a small sigh. I look at my siblings.
"You know, I can't wait until we can willing leave our foster parents and find our actual parents." Ash said.
Atsushi and I node our agreement as I responded back with confidence, "Don't worry, that will happen real soon. I promise. We, as a family, will find our actual parents and prove to the clan that they did not betray us at all!"
Ash smiles brightly before saying, "I'll trust you on that, big sister."
